Why we will see Fallout 4 at E3 2014

onPause writes:

Bethesda has made maybe my favorite RPG of this generation with Fallout 3. It was certainly my favorite opening in a game in recent years. When I emerged from the vault and overlooked the desert, realizing I could go anywhere I wanted, I just stood there for a while and admire the world. The year was 2008 and Bethesda had me so hooked that I spent over 100 hours playing the game – twice!

Probably so but why are we talking about E3 now you guys are wayyy off the mark.

WeAreLegion4595d ago

The most we can hope to see at VGX is an announcement trailer with no in-game shots. They did the same deal with Skyrim. Then, we'll get a full reveal at E3. (It'll probably win Game of the Show, too. Lol. I say that, but there are just too many great developers who haven't shown their next-gen games yet.)

No. Not happening though I'd love it to.

I hope so I really do. He thinks he was hooked with 100 hours I spent over 600 hours over 4 different characters. The last one I didn't do a single mision out of the vault but was still finding new things. Oh the thought of a new fallout makes me all dreamy

theinkandpen4595d ago

Yeah, want to do another neutral playthrough now...and post some screenshots.

JLT-Sandwitch4595d ago

Huh what me? Nah man i'm evil all the way why be good or neutral when you can steal. Sure you can give purified water to the bums to get good karma but clovers my girl so I go evil

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot234d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder234d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
