8CN: NCSoft revealed in a press conference this morning that their MMO Lineage ha made over $1.8 billion in revenue. The game has had a pretty amazing 15 year run (for reference, World of WarCraft has been around for nine years), and has proven to still be popular in Asia despite a subsequent sequel.

Nearly all of the IPs in the publisher's portfolio report a slip in sales as the NCSoft Q1 report is now online for viewing.
GW2 decline due to NCsoft kept trying to push that esport bs when it wasn't that much interest in it.
I believe GW2 will be pick, the game still has tons of people including myself :D doing meta events etc. Now if the rumor about a new expansion is true (please!!) sales would shoot way up.

The NCSoft Q4 2016 report shows overall profits up, with Lineage performing strong, Guild Wars 2 continuing its slide, and WildStar no longer reported.

In a twist of events between two partners, NCSoft sues Netmarble for infringement, claiming location names and other assets from the Lineage IP were taken.
