The moment many Command and Conquer and Unreal Tournament fans have waited for has finally arrived. The stand-alone multiplayer release of Renegade X has officially received a release date.

From GameWatcher: "Indie studio Totem Arts has revealed that Renegade X: Firestorm, the upcoming expansion for its Command and Conquer: Renegade remake, now has a planned release date of Q2 2022. Currently in alpha, it aims to introduce content from the classic real-time strategy game Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun.
Renegade X is a fan-made remake of Westwood Studios' ill-fated spin-off first-person shooter Command and Conquer: Renegade. Although it never quite reached the same heights of popularity as the real-time strategy entries in the series, a loyal fanbase has formed around the title since its launch."

Totem Arts has released the fifth open beta build for its freeware Command & Conquer: Renegade FPS/TPS remake, Renegade X.
Mod team Totem Arts has released the fourth beta version of Renegade X, its fan remake of first-person shooter Command & Conquer: Renegade.
This is the last beta version before the game's full release, and adds three new levels, modding tools, optimisations and lots of new gear to experiment with.
