Rumour: Another Mysterious Website Suggests Potential Fallout 4 Release

Yesterday the website thesurvivor229.com popped up online, sending the Internet into a frenzy suggesting that Bethesda could be gearing up to announce the much anticipated Fallout 4 title in the franchise, however now another site has appeared spurring further rumours.

While it may simply be another hoax, it doesn't hurt to speculate what could potentially be a new-gen Fallout. Taking up residence at vaultofthefuture.net, the website heavily suggests that Fallout 4 might actually be a real thing with various Fallout-themes splashed on the page.

So much going on with this title. I want Fallout 4, but I'll reserve my hype until its revealed at the VGX or E3 next year.

Washington Again
Co-op
No PC version mentioned

Hopefully this site is fake

Co-op would be the worst, the game doesn't need it and I wish some people would get that. Bethesda struggles to make a bug free single player world....never mind adding co-op into the mix....your just asking for trouble and the quality of the games would decrease

Tiechie4565d ago

Agree, the worst thing Bethesda could do is add MP to there games. If they wanna do MP it should be a fallout mmo, like they done with elder scrolls. Keep the numbered games single player.

-Foxtrot4565d ago

Exactly, you don't see single player lovers of ES go "You know what this MMO needs....a single player mode".

A Fallout MMO will come after the ES MMO is been out for a few years, if you want co-op in these games rather then what the game offers you then the game is obviously not for you.

Don't ruin it for the people who have been there from the start

i think they should add something like (i think it was) borderlands. a friend, if you allow it, can come into your game and help you do missions and stuff.

i certainly agree that a mp feature would be terrible, but the co-op, in my opinion, would be a great feature.

@HAC522

It would hard for them to add co-op, they don't just add it in and thats it...it takes months to put it in the game, then you need to design your world round the idea of co-op.

It works in Borderlands because the entire franchise is built up around co-op, ES and Fallout aren't like that.

Seriously people would get nothing out of co-op, you would show off to your friends for a few weeks then ditch it for a proper co-op game.

I've been looking in the thesurvivor2299.com for bit watching it's updates and now this vaultofthefuture.net site? I'm so confused now, this new site has code that refers to the other site, now I'm curious to know if both are run by the same entity. I've put in the photo of the sites code, which contains points between the two sites.

Here's that image, it failed the first time...

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot200d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder200d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain200d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
