Hardcore Gamer: This gives you nine games to add to your Steam library, and perhaps even play one day, for $3.52. For less than the cost of a coffee at Starbucks, you can get Sword of the Stars II Enhanced Edition, Project Freedom, Weird Worlds, SpaceChem and its 63 Corvi DLC, Really Big Sky, Planets Under Attack, Data Jammers, and Ion Assault.

GCO: "Angry Joe recently had a chance to talk to Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester about past missteps of the company, most notedly the release of Sword of the Stars II back in 2011."

Sim City is an obvious choice, but what other games can be used to teach youngsters - and oldsters - useful skills and interesting facts?

BNR: So, what's Spacechem like? It's a game that I'd heard of and known about for a while, but, to be honest, had no idea about. Curious, I activated my Steam key and installed it. The first thing that jumped out at me was the gentle, atmospheric piano music- it certainly has a nice soundtrack. I thus decided to start my first game as a Reaction Engineer Trainee- it seems that this game has something to do with chemistry.
