I've been using remote play quite a lot lately, its everything thing I hoped it would be.

I'm looking more forward to this. Ps4 soon to be out in uk. It's nice to hear good things from others currently using. I see it as another way of splitting the cost in 2 halves. Usually you buy a vita game and a game for another platform. With ps4 it's like buying 1 game and having the ability to enjoy on 2 systems. So if it were £50. You could say it was equivalent to £25 each system.
Not only that, but fifa on vita was good. However, having the better console version streamed to vita is better.

Had my vita since launch and always liked it. However, with all the critics, i hope this just really shines in the end.

I was bummed about it when they were mentioning like crazy as a key feature for PS3, lets hope this time around as good as they say it is. Should find out in December :)

I personally have never tried remote play, but it sounds like a solution for me. I mean, my mom always watches her recorded shows on TV and I never get a chance to play on the TV.

Now I need to save up for a VITA! :)

What does Major Nelson know after that fiasco with the Xbox one , I was shocked by how bad the games look on the Xbox One & he has the cheek .

For the remote play functionality though turns a $400 system into a $650 system, $150 more than the xbox one

I use my Vita more often than not, now that the TV is almost always taken when I want to play. PS4 to Vita stream is quite impressive. I've only noticed a few hiccups, if I'm in another room, playing, but next to the TV it is virtually impossible to notice the difference. The controls on the other hand are hard to get used to.

if they say it's a great feature then expect them to be working on their own remote play feature something like the Wii U tablet pad. but sure it won't be anywhere near as good as vita both hardware & software wise.

I didn't buy a Vita, my iPhone replaced my PSP for casual mobile gaming but getting a PS4 could change that. I could see the potential of remote play but the technology wasn't quite there with the PSP/PS3. I don't want to just spot for my friends or perform some menial side task - I want to be there in the thick of it playing my PS4 game remotely. Further on down the line as this feature expands then why can't I play that game of FIFA I had scheduled just because I'm stuck on the train and can't get home in time or that clan game of Killzone or Call of Duty. This is how consoles CAN stay relevant and fight off mobile phone gaming, in future it may not be that Sony sells a mobile gaming platform but rather sells their consoles with an optional peripheral that connects to the home console so they deliver a single format that you can access anywhere.

I'll get the Vita when they figure out a way to make it work nationwide, regardless of your distance from the system.

So Nelson basically embarrassed himself and MS once again. Cried sour-grapes on something Sony did but MS didn't or will be able to do with their version of remote play, and reversed himself as a spokesmen.
