When you think of 2008 and what it means for gaming, titles such as Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Fallout 3 are sure to spring to mind. However, you are wrong. This year is all about the Ghostbusters.
Yes, after nearly 20 years of silence, Sierra and Terminal Reality are blowing the dust off of the Sony Pictures franchise and bringing Ghostbusters: The Video Game to the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 this fall.

Matt writes: "10 years ago Ghostbusters The Video Game was released on Xbox 360. A decade later the remaster has been released. We review Saber Interactive's latest game."

WTMG's Todd Eggleston: "Ghostbusters The Video Game is nostalgia done right, and puts you right back in 1984. It isn’t a masterpiece of a game, and neither was the movie, but it reminds us again that it is ok for entertainment to just be entertaining. It is a game that deserves to be remastered and remembered. And 35 years later, it also serves to remind us that a remaster doesn’t always need to be Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Sometimes, Ray Parker Jr. is exactly who you need to call."
Joseph, Josh, and Chris discuss Fortnite Season 2, Okami 2, and the continuing Blizzard controversy.
This is sounding pretty awesome. Looks like its going to do the Ghostbusters name justice.
To bad for no co-op though.
Man I wanted to go online with friends and bust some damn ghosts co-op style, if ever there was a game that needed co-op this was it.
They should sell the PS3 version with the Blu-Ray movie packed in with it. Sony is preparing it for October release as well.
Hope they can get the humor of the original movie right. Sounds like they have just about everything else in order, but until I hear Venkman spout off one of those great one-liners, I remain sceptical about the translation of this classic to video game form.
And, yeah, Skerj, co-op would be awesome and really should have been implemented.
"Back off, man, I'm a scientist."
