Exquisite new screenshots show Devil May Cry 4 PC being benchmarked on a Q6600 2.4GHz, 8800GTX system with the resolution set to 1920x1080 in DirectX 9 mode.

With the release of the Devil May Cry series on Netflix, we take a moment to look back on this almost 20-year-old series and let you know the best of the best.
"Devil May Cry 2 isn’t trash. It’s just misunderstood by a fanbase that doesn’t like change."
This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
2.
Dmc.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me

Two Devil May Cry games have been delisted on Steam. As shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Wario64, Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Devil May Cry 4 are no longer available to purchase.
Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.
Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.
that those are some AWESOME graphics?
Looks the same on my console. I think all they're really doing is using the processing power of a high end PC to send fifty enemies on screen at once. Other than that, graphically, there's not much of a difference.
I love it ! Just finished playing on Dante must die mode. good fricken luck playing that with a keyboard ! And if ur using a controller, that should be fine.but, seriously,if u loved DMC that much, you should have just gotten it on a next gen console.I admit though, the 360 controller can make it a bit hard, considering I flew past the game on the PS3,but the 360s controler, sits in a hand that could make it a bit arkward when playing on levels above Dante must die mode
Looks almost as good as 360. A shame the game still sucks.
Those screen shots look great. I can tell the difference in the screenshots because their is an extra level of clarity over my 360 version. Natively rendering a game at FULL 1080P over upscaling it will tend to do that. :) PC FTW!
