Not impressed.

For working on it for 3 years....they sure have a crap-looking game!

I hate large cities with little to no destruction. And if there IS destruction, it looks like complete and utter sh*t.

Bland, boring, and Hulk-ish + lots of blood are a few ways to describe this game.

The developers of this game seem to think that throwing in enough vehicles and pedestrians will make the gameworld living and breathing, but they've certainly proven this isn't the case with this demo.

They should take a look at GTA IV and see how Rockstar DID infact manage to pull this off nicely.

With Unreal Engine Technology end up being descent or just crap, like Area 51, Turok Dino Hunter, Prototype, UT3, (futuristic racing game by Koei), maybe Too Human(looks like trash to me), (Midway Game with John Woo) and perhaps, Gears of War(Overhyped game, Butt ugly colors and slow gameplay)...

The only thing
that Gears of War proved to me that it was very fun to play the first Fu*king week.
Offline completion a lot less than what I expected, beat the game the very first day I bought it...
I prefer online games more than I like offline.

I thought I liked it the first 2 or 3 days, but after the 5th or 6th day, I got sick of it.
Not because I was a bad player, actually I was very good at it and that was one reason why I continued for more than 3 weeks.(Also because of some Noob friends I had, they were so obsessed with this game...)
The last reason what made me continue playing this game longer than 3 weeks was because, when the game released, there wasn't any other new and good online games out there before and after its release for the next gen systems, and I believe the PS3 wasn't out yet, (I might be wrong about PS3, I just didn't had one yet) and many were victims of this reason.

I had plenty of KILLs online in Gears of War, but when killing someone, it.... just.... didn't... had that same magical feeling like when killing someone in Socom online!

It might just be me, but I been a Socom player since Socom 1 on the Playstation 2, and that is probably why I felt this way...

Now, I am getting tired of Unreal Engine gfx. I just can't look at it the same way anymore. Makes me sick.

I'm NoT exited about its sequel and probably won't care to buy it.
My time will be consumed by much better games...

Not a big fan of open world games to begin with. They start out alright but they get old fast Assasins Creed/Hulk Ultimate Destruction/every Spiderman ever made, etc.

inFAMOUS looks like it has more potential than this, I'll wait for that game.

And on a sidenote, I was pumped for Force Unleashed, then I heard there was going to be a Wii version.

The game is shaping up well, I hope they put out a demo.

now this game looks fucing awesome! screw ppl that say it will suck!

"It's very grounded, very realistic." And as I'm watching the footage, I'm like "Damn...this one barren, boring game." It doesn't even look like Times Square, and there's about 100x fewer people populating it too. Looks like a PS2 game more than anything.

Oh, and the premise and main character (especially how he moves) seems pretty ridiculous. I found myself laughing more than anything. And to think that GameInformer gave it such a lovely preview. =P

Am i the only one getting a "undefined" message when trying to get through the age verification?

This game should have released before GTA4 if it wanted a chance in this year's grand line-up. Since we all have a sense of what GTA is like, the expectations have also risen, especially a game like Prototype that is targeting gamers who are interested in a "free-world" environment set in NY. Sorry Prototype, could have been a top-list hype game but GTA4 has just belittled it's potential.
