"In less than 48 hours, Xbox One will begin making its way into peoples’ homes, thus edging us into ending our long-term relationship with the Xbox 360.
Since 2005, Microsoft’s high-def console has been a staple in millions of living rooms throughout North America. Whether or not our individual experiences with the system were great, eight years is still eight years. As we stand on the precipice of a new generation of games, we’re taking the time to look back on our time with the Xbox 360.
Sure, there are plenty of emotional ups and downs, but we’d like to think that every red ring of death has a silver lining. There’s a reason why the system sold so well.

Surprised to see so little activity when it comes to evercade news... its been a great retro platform. I know its emulation, but they still believe in physical media. I'm hoping they will do something special with the Doom release later this year.

Rare's 3D platformer, Banjo-Kazooie has been fully decompiled, and a native PC port with dual analog controls is now available.

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.
So what’s their solution to having multiplayer? Wait until Halo 7?
That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it
I wonder if Microsoft will port Reach over to Playstation I quite enjoyed that game. I played Halo 3 and it was not bad I have Halo 2 on the OG Xbox I just need some cables to hook up to my tv to play it.
