I am glad that mine works just fine and ive had left it 1 day compleatly on now and it havent over heat and its not even hot enough to be concern so i <3 ps4 and the os and i rly hope they release more game soon..fps are not my thing

I bet a lot of people crying and immediately jumping to the conclusion that their PS4 is broken and panicking, without even calming down and checking things out properly, could fix their issue by following this article, instead of rambling on the internet about how Sony had failed and their PS4 is broken.

It really makes me think that a lot of people that have so far bought the PS4 really aren't technologically savy or just stress out too much without taking a breath and thinking clearly.

Been running some heavy hours on my PS4 with a 7200rpm Hdd. No noticeable heating. No loud noise. I'm very impressed thus far. Ill keep you guys posted. Today will be another long day it for it. ;)

The interesting thing is that if indeed its bent HDMI pins causing the majority of issues, I'd hazard a guess and say it's user error, not SONY's fault.

It's crazy how rough people are with electronics. I watched a mate setting up his new TV the other day. Had to walk away. Was like watching some cave man learn to use tools for the first time lol

My ps3 had the handshake problem so I guess my new ps4 is gonna do the same. :(

To all those surprised about the over-heating issues... you shouldn't be, I reported on it months ago when I went hands-on at Fan Expo Canada.

It was during the end of my extensive wait that I witnessed something unexpected, two of the six units broke down. The staff (and by staff I mean Abercrombie models) were at a loss, scrambling to get the systems back up and running while trying to defuse the public gaffe. Both systems that shut down were playing the game Knack. They claimed it was due to excessive use, and the systems over-heating. I was skeptical, but this could be due to a abnormalities. Perhaps they are early non-retail units, maybe they had faulty units, or perhaps they did just over-heat due to use. We will never know."

great read. gotta admit the inclusion of the multiple posts on the amazon pages was disturbing. Although i disagree with the author on the issue of false claims of defective systems. Because i believe It is highly likely that a few of these claims of defective systems may well be fanboys just trying to increase negative press.
