I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
It's going to be a long 10+ year competition, so who knows.
One that may come out on top the first few months or years may not be the one that 'wins' in the end.
However, I believe that both will find what they're looking for in the end.
It sure doesn't look that way right now.
Only time will tell.
Enough with these immature articles already.
I think that one piece of the puzzle that these guys are missing is the relationship MS has built with the cable/satellite industry. The cable and satellite industry is in decline due in no small part to the many streaming options now available around the world. They NEED something to not only stem the tide of cord cutters, but to attract new customers. While there are a number of places that have broadband, many don't have the capability to support IPTV services, but do have an already fully functioning cable TV or satellite network that already handles the video traffic. Those companies need a product that can handle the transition from traditional cable/satellite networks to an IP based network. Only the Xbox One can has the capability to facilitate this transition.
MS could end up partnering up with cable companies around the world to offer a subsidized Xbox One for say $99 down on a 2 year contract. It makes sense as Microsoft recently sold off its own Media room cable TV system (to not compete with their cable industry partners) and they ended their piloted subsidized 2 year agreement program for the 360. MS does have a working relationship with a number of cable companies in the US and around the world due to its Media Room technology and relationships for apps, and integrating/supporting the tv functions with those companies is that much easier since its basically CEC or IR blaster codes that could easily be setup on the One.
I suspect that in 2014 we will see announcements of these agreements which could very well tip the scales in the console sales. I mean there's at best 200M console users, but there's at least 4 times that in cable subscribers. It will be interesting either way what happens in 2014.
cuz the ppl in sonys higher ups know what gaming means to their customers.. They know how to get GREAT 1st party exclusives.. They knew what they did wrong when they seen how 360 had better media than PS4.. Then they had Mark Cerny design the ultimate nx gen game console
