On newsstands right now is PlayStation: The Official Magazine's Metal Gear Solid: The Complete Guide.

So many times before, I have been duped by the hype of a game or console, into purchasing a "launch guide" or an "all you need to know about (insert game/console here)". I always finish reading the publication with a poor taste in my mouth. Nothing but recapped articles from previous issues, and pages upon pages of already seen screenshots.
Well I am here to tell you that this one is different.
Sure it has some of the aforementioned "previous articles", it even has some old interviews with Hideo Kojima. But its the new editorial content, mixed in with detailing the MGS time line and characters that truly set this publication aside from the rest.
Some of the more original content features stories about Johnny Sasaki, Rose, and Raiden. Even a new interview with Kojima.
The Complete Guide is just that. It recaps the whole Metal Gear Series, all the characters, all the sequels, all the spin offs, all the emotions, all the thoughts provoked while playing these masterpieces.
The Metal Gear Saga DVD Vol 2. did a good job of briefly recapping the series, and providing quick backgrounds to some of the characters, and plot. However if you are looking for a more detailed version of that, then surely you should pick up this guide. In fact, if you cannot find it…. hunt it down.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD have been delisted from digital stores without warning.
Stupid headline. Should state that they are being updated or discontinued. This makes the crazy people that only read headlines think it some kind of conspiracy to take away peoples already purchased games.
If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."
Gamers: "Physical? who needs physical? everyone knows that digital online games are the future. stop living in the past. we don't need no stinking disc drive"
Same gamers: "How dare the delist a digital game that I own!!!!"

The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.
Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!
The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer
Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱

An article looking at the symbolic meaning behind the cigarettes in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
OH NO...Spoilers are going to start flooding the internet now
how much is it?
i'm pickin' it up tomorrow
I will be picking this up tomorrow.
LMAO at Steve Urkel, nice name dude LOL!!!!
Anyway, I know that this is a tad bit off topic but I'm still getting that damn 090B:00000001 error code and it's pissing me off!
I have a bloody legit U.S. beta from the reserved MGS Saga CD keys and I keep on getting the same error. I live in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico, U.S. to be exact) and I keep on getting the same error. I did not lie in where I live at (At first I put United States, but then it gave me an option to specify at what state, there was Alabama etc and Puerto Rico was on the list so der I choose P.R.) when I created my Game ID/Konami ID, I updated to 1.02 so I'm practically beta ready (was ready the 18th!).
So Konami, WTFXUP!? Do you have beef on teh Puerto Ricans? Cuz I'll kill ya with teh reggaeton papy!!!shift+1!!11!
I am going to get this tomorrow to past the time hopefully with that, the beta, and gta IV i think i will be good
