SheAttack: "The Kinect 2.0 isn’t so bad after all. I have definitely changed my mind about it and can see why Microsoft have insisted on including it with the Xbox One."

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.
That's actually really cool, although I doubt any of the TV features would work in Canada.
Still getting a PS4, games first for me but maybe when it eventually drops in price to $300.
now voice commands and multitasking is what it all about jesus lol
welcome to 2013 MS where smartphones smart tvs do the same
lets see how your ground breaking games work with kinect?
thats rite its not ground breaking for games in anyway
so lets see it how it really is tv skype and kinect gimmics with some 3rd party exclusives none of that has me excited what so ever.
when it comes to gaming ps4 has me sorted when it comes to motion controls via voice/cam ps4 has me sorted (and not forced onto me)
say what your box is really for and stop riding the gamers to get a user base its just wrong in so many ways
if MS get a good foot hold with the x1 there real vision will show and the gaming will take a back seat.
Yea looks cool but dang... Kinda overload.
This may be a case where... Sometimes less is more.
Hopefully all the turds are done posting on Friday.
I dont really find the new Kinect useful for gaming but it does make the user experience pretty interesting. What i like the most was when they were chatting over skype and the camera was following the other user automatically using software. It was also pretty neat when they switched between several different applications instantaneously. However i did notice some UI lag but its so minor that i doubt that it will bother anyone. In my opinion Microsoft should have unveiled the XBOX One using this type of demo instead of staging the whole thing right before E3.
Anyways this still doesn´t sell the console to me because the majority of the features are only available in the USA. Also the console being weaker than the PS4 and costing 100$ more is an issue for me. The XBOX One just isnt for me but i cant tell that those looking for a multimedia cable box that can do everything from watching TV, skype, surfing the web and playing games will feel right at home with the system.
