Does IGN Know Something About Fallout 4?

There’s been precious little news about Fallout 4, especially after Pete Hines told fans: “not to even ask us about the game or questions how far in development the game is.” So, if the most reliable source of news is stopped up, what can the fans do?

Duhhh. If you lisen to podcast beyond they talk all the time about how hard it is not to talk about the stuff they know. Crap I used to do market testing and even I know about games that the general public do not.

Yeah, it must be very hard to keep all that good stuff bottled up. I can imagine!

As for Fallout 4. All I need is FALLOUT 3 with extremely pretty graphics, a bigger open world, less bugs and that's about it. Gameplay wise, they can pull a COD and I'd be fine. I simply LOVED Fallout 3. New Vegas was good too. I can't put my finger on it but there was something "special" about Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 was amazing.. I've put over 200 hours on that game on very hard difficulty. It was the best single player experience I've ever had

They better bring back the vats system. I loved that feature. I play fallout 3 to this day. Just to find bottle caps or just some guns stash.

There are a few key things I really want Bethesda to work in all of the next gen games they make which most likely Fallout 4 will be first.

Biggest is facial animation. They need to work on that alot since a massive amount of the game is talking to people and when the faces are so lifeless like in Fallout or Skyrim it kinda takes you out of the story side of the game.

Overall character animation is a close second. Skyrim improved in a small way some of the animation issues but not to much. I mean the rolling animation in Skyrim is so bad it makes me laugh.

As far as graphics I expect them to be great but kinda like how Oblivion was versus being insane OMG level stuff. What I mean by that is that when Oblivion came out at the beginning of this gen it was crazy looking and people were kinda blown away but obviously they pushed it even harder with Skyrim which looks MUCH better. So i expect it to look awesome but that the next Elder Scrolls or Fallout 5 will be that much better.

One other thing which isn't as big a deal is that I would like the game to be far more dense. At least as far as finding things to explore goes. It's alot more fun when every few minutes you are finding a new place to explore instead of wandering around(which can be fun to sometimes depending on what beasties you run into)

Would love a Fallout 4 but in all honesty, there are a LOT of long lasting games coming out soon. Part of the reason I loved fallout is putting in massive hours and milking the game so I had something to constantly play. With games like Destiny, Watchdogs, the Division, Infamous, The Order, next Naughty Dog game, Killzone and Battlefield 4 its not exactly a dry season in the near future.

I don't really know what I meant by all that. I'm still reeling from my Hawks almost losing (again).

Good night.

I hear what you are saying but I think that comparing Fallout with the titles that you mentioned is not a good idea. Fallout has a completely different story, very different setting and gameplay is very unique (PIPBOY etc).

At least I buy Fallout games not only because I can put in 100+ hours but also because of other things that make Fallout games... well... Fallout!

I sense that Fallout 4 will be a timed exclusive to MS either that or timed DLC BS again.

I hope I am wrong.

How many times is this article going to get posted, when it wasn't even an IGN employee who said these things? It was a blogger, not an IGN editor.
