ARS: By our count, the massive Ultimate FAQ that Sony posted today regarding the PS4 answers 191 questions about the system, ranging from the essential (“When does PS4 come out in different countries and regions?”) to the trivial (“Does PS4’s graphical user interface have a name like the PS3 system’s ‘Cross Media Bar’?”).
You can read through the whole thing yourself, but you’ll end up wasting a lot of time on things that are obvious, already well-known, or simply inessential marketing speak. To help save you the trouble, here is our list of 17 good, bad, and ugly things we learned from the FAQ. While not all of these items are strictly new information, they are all important or interesting, and they're presented here to counteract the slow drip of information Sony has been putting out for months now.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

PS4 games no longer come on DVD?
That’s the implication from an answer indicating that “physical PS4 games come on Blu-ray Disc, the best form of media capable of handling the large amounts of data that PS4 requires.” We suppose there’s no reason to continue to support plain-old DVD-based games any longer, but it’s still the end of an era if the format is on its way out for game storage."
What? I mean ... what? If Sony answered that question in the faq then I'm sure they were doing it just to prove how stupid some people are.
And the Vita remote play feature ... Oh God, I really can't believe how inane some people are. If you can't get a decent Wi-Fi connection then OF COURSE it's not going to work as well.
Well first off Sony recently announced that they will fix the mp3/dlna issue with a second patch on the ps4 coming after it's release. Secondly I never heard of the one time online activation thing for blu-Ray and DVD movies. Is it for real? How come u don't need a one time online activation for games but you do for movies. I don't think this is true, it doesn't make any sense. Does someone know for sure if this is the case?
The only complaint I have is I want it right NOW!!!!
No games on dvd .............. dont tell me it hasn't got a floppy drive either.
What a STUPID article. At least it should have been written by a guy who OWNS A PS 3.
This author is CLEARLY a Xboxer praising the DVDs for gaming media.
