Developers/publishers never confirm they're rushing a product while it's in development... How is this news worthy??? LOL

colt-of-tipton4610d ago

Glad to hear there not rushing this ,looks like this game could be very special indeed.

zerocrossing4610d ago

If they were rushing it do you honestly think they would admit to it?

4Sh0w4610d ago (Edited 4610d ago )

So an "analyst" says they're rushing it and we're suppose to take his word for it. March 2014 hardly sounds like a rush for a game that seems to be coming along just fine as far as we know.

Its like just saying out of nowhere "Is inFamous SS being rushed? -No, why?

"This is a very experienced, seasoned team, one of the best in the industry. They've got a bunch of great games under their belt. We have been monitoring and working with them for a long time. This has been a game that's been in development for multiple years." -EA Games

Based on what rationality is it being rushed? I haven't heard any.

malokevi4609d ago

Now that it's confirmed MS exclusive, everyone is disagreeing with you. lol.

SPECIAL?! YEAH, ONLY IF YOU'VE PLAYED IT!!

tee hee

Hicken4609d ago

And have you played it? Has colt played it?

Don't get me wrong. I've said from the start that the game looks like it's going to be loads of fun.

But the way you Xbox guys go on about it, you'd think it was doing stuff never before seen in a video game.

People's stances haven't changed- and we both know there's no way you can prove that- since it was announced as not coming to PS4. But it's also pretty certain that its successor will be there. And it's not a Microsoft exclusive if you don't need a Microsoft branded device to play it.

Unless we're getting into the console exclusive argument again. And if we are, then you'd best forget about saying anything about all the games coming to PS4 that "don't count" cuz they're already on PC.

malokevi4609d ago (Edited 4609d ago )

Windows OS, Xbox360, Xbox One. Sounds like an MS exclusive to me... you can slice it however you want, if it makes you feel better.

"And have you played it? Has colt played it? "

No, but every single person who has comes away from the booth with a child-like sense of wonderment. I guess that means nothing, now that it's confirmed to be skipping PS4?

All colt said was:

"Glad to hear there not rushing this ,looks like this game could be very special indeed. "

If there is an even remotely viable reason for disagreeing with that, I'm happy to hear it. But there isn't, appart from butthurt fanboys who limit themselves to one console.

Oh, and I'll be buying a PS4 day-1 to play Planetside and Warthunder (not JUST to play them... but I digress). I'm not such a pissant fanboy that I would care to argue that it's also on PC. Doesn't matter. Your arguments are moot.

The people dismissing Titanfall all of a sudden are the people who haven't played it, or will never get to play it because they are so set in their ways. That's all there is to it.

Hicken4609d ago

"I guess that means nothing, now that it's confirmed to be skipping PS4?"

What are you basing this on? You're not the only one: plenty of Xbox fanboys have suddenly decided people's tunes have changed since Titanfall was confirmed exclusive, but I'm seeing the same things I've always seen: people saying they'd get it on PC, other people saying they don't care about it at all. Nothing has changed.

Not every person who will only be getting one console is a "butthurt fanboy," and not every person who SAYS they're getting both- like yourself- isn't a fanboy.

As for people disagreeing, could it just be that they don't believe what he does? That they look at this statement and think, "Well, they sure as hell weren't gonna say they were rushing it, even if they were." Because, really, who would admit that? Yet you equate it, not to the more natural conclusion, but to your biased reasoning that only Sony fanboys would disagree. As if there aren't a dozen other comments that mention the more logical outcome that you SAY you're happy to listen to.

And on that note, why is it that so many think they can hide their obvious loyalties by saying, every now and then, "I plan on getting both," or "I own all consoles?" Your comments mark your disdain for Sony, and love for Microsoft; who would believe you?

You can call me a fanboy. It's annoying, but I can deal with it. I've no need to hide my preferences, or my reasons for disliking any other company. They should be pretty well-known.

But I'll be damned if obvious fanboys suddenly try being the moderate and yet seek to drag the names of others through the mud.

malokevi4609d ago

My comments mark my llove for titanfall, and my disdain for people who lie through their teeth due to brand loyalty.

I am getting both. Therefore, by the laws of the universe, I win and you lose! :D

Enjoy your limited selection of games, buddyboy. I'll enjoy all that the next gen has to offer. While I PREPARE FOR TITANFALL!

rainslacker4609d ago (Edited 4609d ago )

@malokevi

"Enjoy your limited selection of games, buddyboy. I'll enjoy all that the next gen has to offer. While I PREPARE FOR TITANFALL!"

I'm sure that sounded much more epic in your head

@Hicken

I readily admit my preference for Sony, and couldn't care less if people think I'm a fan boy. I love games, and will criticize or praise any company regardless of personal system preference if I feel they deserve it. Some people should try it some time.

On a side note, I used to hate Sony because I felt they drove NEC out of the market and I was a huge TG-16 fan boy. I was young then. After realizing it was NEC's fault for failing in the US, I realized it was worth knowing more of the story before hating on a company just because. Still didn't stop me from getting a PS1 the week it launched in Japan. The games man....the games. I still give huge props to Hudson for their efforts in the US with the TG-16. Particularly their employees who left and tried to carry on the TG-16 for as long as they could.

The game comes out in the spring, and folks are already wondering if the game is being rushed... Smh

TearsOfARapper4610d ago

It's because it's not coming out for PS4 so it's time to flame the game like crazy instead of waiting excitedly for it and hope it gets announced for your system.

Revolver_X_4610d ago

"Is Titanfall being rushed?"

"Yeah, totally!" /s

Talk about stating the obvious. Did anyone expect a different answer?

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad1373d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g1373d ago (Edited 1373d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
