Youre saying this like were comparing pc on ultra vs xbox 360... Its nowhere near that serious dude relax

The XB1 version looks better in places and so does the PS4 version. I don't think anyone can say the XB1 version looks crap, both versions look almost identical.

Lets be honest here. unless for fact that both are running the exact same hardware, there was never going to be a 100% like for like comparison between the two.

they may be running similar hardware (from the same mfg) but they arent "the same". So comparisons of games like BF4 and COD are really just done to show the parity of the platforms or if the devs are trying for parity.

The exclusive games are the ones most care about (on this site anyways). So can we just get to that point where if one person has an xb1 and the other has a ps4 and they BOTH like BF or COD then they will buy it for their platform?

Lets all praise our God CBOAT someone no one cared about until now. Someone who said prince of persia was going to be announced during xbox e3 conference. All hail CBOAT and if this is the 50% difference then im not impressed its not night and day and i played this video on my 55" sony bravia hx850 1080 p led and you could barely see a difference ontop of the x1 version not being complete and adding AO when launch comes. sorry but difference is subtle and not as big as i would fear on top of microsoft having late drivers. funny i showed my brother some images and hes a ps4 fanboy and i removed the ps4/ xo logo from the bottom of the screen and asked him which he thought was better and he picked X1 screen shot which made me chuckle.

Some people are acting like XB1's BF4 has to have missing textures for that power gap to be proven. The resolution difference alone is a huge indicator, but the lighting, AA, and framerate are also better on PS4.

Upscaling was always cheap, and for next gen it's even more so.

They are both powerful enough to create some amazing games.
Gamers are not as gullible as other demographics and companies like Capcom had to find out the hard way.
We want genuine quality and not some candy coated turd.
Bring back the authentic gaming experience. The one we want and not the one they think will "appeal to everyone".

Exactly. Graphics comparisons were all the rage here, especially in the early days of the PS3/360 gen, when the 360 had the multi plat advantage. With some games, smaller differences than what's been shown with BF4 were pointed at and the crowing would ensue... "OMG 360 KILLS PS3... look at all those jaggies... My eyes are bleeding!!! LOLOLOLOL"

Over time the comparisons lost a little steam as the differences became smaller, but they never went away. Now it's wrong to point out the differences when PS4 bests XB1 in so many ways.

Just another flip flop, along with exclusives being more important, no wait it's multi plats, no wait it's exclusives again now that XB1 is launching with more.

And as you said, the blatant misinformation spread by some XB die hards in denial on here has been pretty comical. Not that this will shut them up, but continued denial in the face of reality is always entertaining.

Yeah I know why the debate is going on and I'm glad people come on here and try to set things straight with logic and facts(sometimes). A balance has to be restored and maintained.

You can calmly refute nonsense with logic and facts, then some PC-only fanboy will just say, "crysis 3 looks better anyway" or some other nonsense that I don't care about. That's nice, maybe I'll give it a go when it's on sale for $5 US.

Notice how my comment towards Highres didn't have any digs to any camp and I even acknowledged PS4 as a powerful system, but you on the other hand just can't help yourself. You are incapable of having a normal non biased discussion.

And yet none of the games shown show any real noticeable difference in graphics. With all that power we still have games that have the same shooting mechanic or fighting design. The multiplats play same on each system.

Really, because all I see is the Sony camp beating their chests about BF being 900p when just some weeks ago bashed Ryse for being 900p. Also how the Sony camp kept lashing out at the PC crowd when they explained that their games can be played in 1080p/60fps.

Flip flop? You mean how the sony fans claim of the power of the cell and that all devs are lazy because they said that the PS3's architecture was too hard to develop for??
But now praise sony for listening to devs and dropping the cell because the architecture WAS too hard?

The latest flip flop is padding the Sony launch line up with PC titles and claiming those as exclusives. Something the Sony camp always yelled at 360 fans saying those games don't count if they appear on the PC.

And blatant misinformation? How about Deadrising 3 on 360, 8 gigs dedicated to games, Titanfall coming to PS4, hUMA, FCC report and even Hicken claiming that MS is not providing free dedicated servers.

You can't just accuse one camp and ignore the other.

EA owns all BF servers so yes, they can do something about it but they refuse to because they dont want ppl playing their old games instead of the new one. Its EA we’re talking about here
