John Bedford (Modojo): When it comes to new Android games, the release schedule has certainly picked up since last week's rather thin offering. From a new Call of Duty game, to this year's cutest puzzler, we think gamers of all tastes should be well catered for this week though.
Here then is our round-up of the best new Android games to hit Google Play over the last seven days.
CCG writes - "Random Heroes: Gold Edition begins with the plot of aliens invading Earth and it is up to you, the hero, to stop them. Taking a gun, you blast your way through various levels collecting coins and killing these beasts along the way. As you plow through the levels, you are greeted with traps such as spikes and things you must jump on to be raised to the next level. A life bar in the form of a battery shows your health, and the characters shoot at you in real time. The amount of coins is shown and these are collected after you blast an enemy to death."
James writes: "Fundamentally, Random Heroes feels like a game built for mobile devices. It is not in any sense a bad game but it does nothing in a market already filled to the brim with great platformers, even at a similar price range. Furthermore, the 108 levels are an absolute chore to get through, making me wish I hadn't even started it."
