Gundam Extreme Versus Maxi Boost Announced

So most likely within a year and a half we will see a port of this game to the Playstation 3 but the real question is will they make a version for the Playstation 4 at the same time? A while back when Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost was announced for Playstation 3, I was quite dissappointed when no next gen version of the game was announced. Obviously sheduling is everything to these people and they were already working on Maxi Boost before they even announced the Ps3 Port for ExVSFB. So there is a high possibility that in 2015 we will know about a Ps3 and Ps4 version of Maxi Boost while they work on the game after Maxi Boost.

This version (when it makes it's way to consoles) better have 4 player local! That was the thing that pissed me off about ExVS Ps3 Version and something tells me Full Boost wouldn't have it either. Ps4 version please!

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON Announced, Still on Arcade

The latest entry in the Extreme Vs. series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost, did not get a console port. This makes it a little more surprising that the newly announced Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON will also just be for arcade. Granted, arcades are much bigger in Japan than they are in the US. But that doesn’t change the fact that home console owners and Gundam fans, both in the East and the West, will be unable to get their hands on the latest Gundam: Extreme Vs. game as of yet.

gamrReview Japan: A Night at Namco Land

gamrReview's Xavier Griffiths: "Video arcades peaked in popularity in the West in the 80s and were all but gone with the arrival of the new millennium. That is not the case in Japan where arcades, or game centers, remain a vital part of gaming culture. Whenever a high profile new arcade game is announced, western gamers take to the internet hoping for a localization and console port, whereas here in Japan it is just a matter of wondering when said title will arrive at the arcade down the street.

Such is the case with the recently announced and demoed Pokken Tournament and Dissida Final Fantasy arcade games. While those arcade machines have yet to be unleashed, I decided to pop in to my local Namco Land Game Center to try out some arcade games that are available to play right now."

But the opening was revealed a few weeks ago, didn't that pretty much confirm it? Also if anybody hasn't played Full Boost they really should, it's to die for.
