Read dead redemption sequel.

That is all.

EZMickey4608d ago

Nah, there's so much more Rockstar could do.

I would like to see Manhunt 3 with a decent control scheme and really expansive gameplay mechanics and unique situations. I think the toughest challenge is just that Manhunt is too violent for mainstream media, there's no two ways around it. Rockstar could barely get away with the torture scene in GTA 5 without people bitching and moaning about it. A new Bully would also be cool and personally, I'd like to see a new Lemmings game :P

I would love to see Rockstar bring a new IP especially something in a fantasy or sci fi setting just to see how they handle it. As much as I love Rockstar I feel as if they need to expand their catalogue in that regard.

Manhunt & Bully? How boring.

Red Dead next or Rockstar doing a super hero game that uses that huge open world they are capable of making. A Superman game would be awesome by Rockstar.

theBAWSE4608d ago

simple.... . 'AGENT'

probably now a ps4 exclusive instead of ps3

Funantic14608d ago

Ah man, Manhunt 1 was a good game. Rockstar has so much to choose from...Bully, Red Dead, L.A. Noire.

gaffyh4608d ago

Agent, because they said they were making it and shouldn't go back on their word.

AliTheSnake14608d ago

Red Dead Redemption was just released. Can't see how they can top that story.
Definitely Bully . So much potential.

ssj274608d ago

Agree! But they first need to port GTAv to PC and next gen consoles next year with all the expansion packs for free.. please and thank you.

Red_Devilz4608d ago

Red Dead Redemption PREquel.

*Fixed*

Emmm....except it is not a Rockstar Games IP.

It is/was Sucker Punch (same guys who make InFamous)

king_george4608d ago

Thank you someone said it lol. But that game is probably dead. I hope not tho

Dirtnapstor4608d ago (Edited 4608d ago )

Agent is still on task from what I've read. Looking forward to it, I'm sure it will be an involved game.

Aside from that, I'm expecting a Red Dead sequel. That game was fantastic.

skyremote4608d ago

The cell is the reason why Agent and the Last guardian wont come out.

There is a reason why Sony dropped it for the PS4.

What an epic fail the Cell was.

king_george4607d ago

Well to be fair theres alot of awesome games that would not have been as awesome without it. The uncharted series comes to mind immediately

Rockstar launches official marketplace for mods

Rockstar has launched an official marketplace for "every server and every player" to buy mods: Cfx Marketplace.

I wonder how much of this isn't just taken work of others who have modded for free.

Edit: Also, great way for R* to take popular ideas and build them into GTAVI based on demand.

fr0sty137d ago

What I see happening here is, R* is going to ban mods in GTA6 UNLESS you buy them from the marketplace and R* then gets a cut of that sale.

ActualWhiteMan137d ago

Ah, perfect timing with them taking down the Bully online fan mod. Greedy a$$ company.

Christopher137d ago

It's okay as long as they get a cut of the money.

fr0sty137d ago

Expect R* to force it on you.

Snookies12136d ago

Yep, right there with you. I'll happily donate to a mod creator if it looks really cool, or if I enjoy it. But expecting payment up front? Nope, not touching it.

IanTH137d ago (Edited 137d ago )

I'm not entirely sure how to read this, as it doesn't seem exactly like an exact parallel to Bethesda's paid mods shenanigans.

Rather than single player stuff, this appears to be aimed solely on Cfx Servers. From what I've gleaned, apparently Rockstar bought the Cfx mod team several years ago, coming a few years after weird contentions led them to ban a few of their members. Ultimately, the question is if they plan to keep this contained to only online/servers.

I have to guess to a degree yes. It'd be pretty hard to "force" paid mods for single player when modding files locally on your own machine, but much easier for servers they'll control. So perhaps this is their soft launch ahead of GTA6 online and they'll clamp down more tightly on non-official servers going forward? Ever since they've become a 1 or 2 property studio, I haven't really cared much for Rockstar stuff, so I'm not entirely up on everything surrounding this. Sounds like it has the potential to be problematic further down the line, but right now fairly easy to ignore...I think lol.

PlayStation Store’s top downloads of 2025

O'Dell Harmon Jr. writes: "Before we say goodbye to 2025, let’s take a look back and see what were the most downloaded games of the year. It was a great time for sports, shooters, and some new PlayStation VR2 games. Sports favorites topped the charts in US/Canada and EU, with NBA 2K26 and EA Sports FC26, respectively.

Juggernaut GTA V found a home in the top three for both regions, with new 2025 release Battlefield 6 claiming second place in the US. Fortnite took top place for free-to-play games, and Beat Saber continues its PS VR2 success."

FH5 4th in Europe compared to North America 14th. Not surprising.

LucasRuinedChildhood138d ago

I think it shows how shortsighted it was for Sony to let go of Evolution and not get them to make some sort of competitor (open world Driveclub?) 10 years ago.

bionicstar138d ago (Edited 138d ago )

its a hard bet to make. hindsight is always 20/20.

Christopher137d ago

After Driveclub's reception, hard to say it would have done well enough to compete. It's easy to dream of such a thing, but to make it happen? It's taken how long for CoD to be dethroned? And it was dethroned by Hogwart's Legacy and has gained it right back just the next year.

It’s funny to watch the only games EU and USA agree on was Minecraft and back ops 7 both regions on 6 and 7 spot respectively other than that FIFA rules EU

gold_drake137d ago

I would like to see a list that has both free to play and paid games together, but at least we have this.

To this day GTA5 is a top downloaded game and it makes me wonder if the industry is really ready for GTA6. I imagine almost nothing else will sell during that game's release window.
