Codemasters has discussed how it is approaching the next-generation edition of F1 2014.
Game director Paul Jeal said that it was decided to not do DLC for this year's F1 game because the content wouldn't contribute to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of next year's release.
F1's next generation future has been discussed by Codemasters.
"Anything that we would do as DLC then couldn't be used in 2014, so [extra content in F1 2013 is] probably not something that we're going to look at," he told Digital Spy.
"The amount of technical infrastructure that we need to do as a company and we're choosing to do to get ourselves properly set up for next-gen... One of the guys was talking earlier about, are the games jumping to get 60 frames per second on next-gen?
"I think we would definitely be in that situation if we were trying to make the leap onto next-gen this year."
Jeal said the team's decision to wait for Xbox One and PS4 was similar to the franchise's debut on current generation systems, with its entry F1 game debuting first on Wii, then Xbox 360 and PS3 a year later.
Carlos writes "Last week we had a ton of new backwards compatible titles come to the Xbox One, helping to push the number of games closer to the 400 backwards compatible mark. Today sees two more additions, but are they games that players should dust off once more or should they be left in the past?"
I don't get why people ask if having BC games on XB no matter how great or bad they are, are worth it.
There are many gamers... aka Me... That have a large 360 collection and want to eventually finish these games they may have started and put aside or collect all the achievements. To me, I want every 360 game on BC so that I can complete them all.

We have F1 2010 running at the top left for the Xbox 360, F1 2011 at the top right also for the Xbox 360, the bottom left is last year's F1 2014 for the Playstation 3 and of course F1 2015 running on the Playstation 4 completes the foursome in the bottom right video."
There is career mode and all the teams, tracks and drivers so yeh this gets my money cos im big f1 fan
There is no career mode. You get to play as one driver for one season as often as you like. I think its called championship mode.
Mate this is a proper F1 game, all the teams, drivers, tracks, rules etc. so get the real thing over the amazing porject cars for a true f1 experance.
