If this can turn out to be a possible collaborations between the two company's and crossover/return of the blue bomber himself as well as passing the torch to the newcomer of mighty no.9. Then it's a yes with any benefits to a more positive approach that can help both Capcom and Comcept. If Inafune offers them publishing rights and Capcom refuses like they often do these days, well then so be it.

lol. you can't be serious. there's no way he's going to go with capcom after kickstarting over 3 million. Especially after nickel and diming the people with, "oh gimme 1 million more and I'll add an intro sequence with a boss battle. 1 more million and I'll add a 3DS version."

I would love it if he did though. Teach people a lesson that someone like inafune, who has the means to fund his projects, shouldn't be using kickstarter at all. At the very least, he has the connections to get a project like this going.

The only reason to get a publisher would be for things like advertizing. But since the game is essentially paid for, Mighty #9 profits start at break even so every non-backer copy is profit. Not much need for a ton of advertizing imo. Maybe a few ads here and there...
