-Dem PS4 titles dominating next-gen pre-orders!
-Wii U and Vita am cry in the corner with no games on the chart.

Destiny PS4 = 61k
Knack = 47k

Hmmm Interesting. Destiny is coming in 2014, Knack is a launch title. I guess the platformer fan isn't your typical PS4 early adopter?

Another interesting note: NO TITANFALL on the chart. Not even on 360. This is pretty alarming considering the hype its been getting. I'm sure it'll show up within the new few weeks though!

yeah, the only game that appears to be a dead heat in terms of next gen is Ghosts with the PS4 only a few thousand units ahead in terms of preorder. But titles like BF4 have like 100k difference between them. I think that is a direct indication that there are more preorders for the PS4 than the XB1.

On another note though, it's interesting how the 360 version of Ghosts has over double the preorders of the PS3/PS4 versions. Also interesting that the PS3 and PS4 versions of Ghosts have almost identical preorder numbers.. strange

Nintendo titles generally don't have tons of preorders, minus games like Monster Hunter and Pokemon.

That being said, a game on an install base of less than half of either the 360 or PS3 that can have the 2nd most preorders across the board is pretty impressive. I am expecting big sales numbers (especially over the Pacific) for Pokemon X&Y. It will move Monster Hunter 4 like numbers easily.

Ever since Heavy Rain, I've been supporting Quantic Dream. They put heart and soul into their work and create art.

That art might not be for everyone, but it's polished, well designed and engaging for those that enjoy it.

I bought Heavy Rain just to play on my brother's PS3 each weekend, travelled home from uni just to finish it. What a great experience!

Cacabunga490d ago

Heavy Rain was a masterpiece and one of my top 3 best PS3 games.
Beyond was solid as well but not as good.
Elliot Page is nonsense 🤦🏻

DafunkyRebel490d ago

JASON JASONNNN yeah that was a great game, wish there was a proper remake

Relientk77491d ago

This is actually my favorite Quantic Dream game. I thought the story, supernatural stuff, and cast was great and super interesting. Hopefully the show will be good.

Same here, This one i liked the most. The variety in scenery and set pieces was refreshing and the supernatural aspect was well executed.

I am a bit biased however because I love all interactive movie like games
