It has been a little over a week since Rockstar released their much anticipated multiplayer update to the biggest game in history; GTA V. With the game selling close to 20 million units so soon after launch, it was inevitable that the servers would have teething issues coping with the traffic.
GTA Online player base & revenue on PlayStation platforms are almost twice of that of PC/Xbox combined, according to a recent Rockstar leak.
PlayStation is GTA and GTA is PlayStation, they're going to kill it when GTA 6 is finally released 😏.

That might be true but you forget, all of Microsoft 1st part games are also available on Playstation and soon day one release
Replies(1)I know of people that own a PS4 exclusively to play gta5, and that’s all they play. I’m sure some of you here know of someone too. I’m surprised at how low the revenue for PC is.
I can't tell you what it's like on PS5 but it's absolutely horrific on PC. My experience is constant hackers and a game that feels like it hates you playing with your own friends too, always seems like a chore to manage to join some minigame together without somehow ending up in different server instances n shit. If I were going to bother with it I'd probably do it on console too.
My guess is also that there are modded versions of GTA online with massive communities on PC that are way better than the rockstar approved version and Rockstar isn't making money out of those.
Those are the types of things people forget when they are talking about PC gaming.

Be glad the ''ghetto'' PS fans around the globe are spending money because they're practically single handedly keeping the gaming industry from crashing and burning. Can't say the same for MS and their miniscule green fanbase.
Yet those "PS fans" didn't save Concord, Marathon, Highguard or Helldivers 2. Hell, Helldivers 2 and Marathon are only on life support cuz of PC. lol
Actually really surprised with the PC revenue which is an abysmal 3% overall vs Console (PS and Xbox combined) at a whopping 97%. It now makes sense why Take Two/Rockstar prioritizes Consoles. Heck, they could even delay the PC port release 2 to 3 years and it wouldn't make any impact at all.
I think its due to FIVEm. A lot of GTA PC players seem to just play that so don't need the shark cards or a way to even use them for fivem.

Boy ppl do bend over for certain companies lol if this was say "Starhawk" it would have got ripped to shreds lol It actually did just bcus the game is mainly mp focused and had an sp that was basically a tutorial the way they intended it to be, yet the game got lower scores due to the sp, smh.

Only big things i hate about GTA online is the stupid auto aim, horrible body armor that does nothing when everyone can land a hit and the bots having the accuracy of hawk eye even on easy. its not fun trying to take someone out with a attack helicopter only to be easily taken out by someone who just has to hold the left trigger and slightly move it towards you just to get the kill.
