Well that's nice for those that want it. I'll be playing KI for my launch fighter.

Gamer6664483d ago

Yeah... I completed and enjoyed Injustice not long after it came out...

I would rather have another new fighting game then something I have already completed.

Dmagic4482d ago

? how do you complete a fighting game? lol i think you missed the whole point of playing fighters.

Gamer6664482d ago

@Dmagic

I got all the achievements... Online, single player, and in the S.T.A.R. Lab...

I now want something new!

HugoDrax4483d ago

Yeah, I doubt I'll spend money to buy it for my XB1 or PS4 when I already have it for my X360.

akaFullMetal4483d ago

So possibly a timed exclusive, which is nice for ps4 launch, as they don't have a fighter. But even still, timed exclusives suck, should be anvailable for everyone.

Software_Lover4483d ago

Not having a competing fighter is more than likely the reason it's timed at this point in time.

corvusmd4483d ago

Can't really call it an exclusive when it's already on other systems....

Whitey2k4483d ago

who knew xbone fanboys cry over this considering they have Killer Instinct

Mystogan4483d ago

I don't see anyone crying...

whoyouwit044483d ago

Did I miss something, Who the hell is crying?

MajorMayhem704483d ago

You gave the very reason why no one is crying. Xbox one has Killer Instninct.

I had to search for the truth about this. I don't mind it being a timed exclusive at all. But it made no sense to make it for all systems (including the PC) and leave the X1 out. But there is no word about the Wii U.

I just hate seeing all this DLC for skins, guns, characters and new levels come out in short periods of time for certain games. People pay extra for all this and a "Ultimate" edition springs out later. That's the reason why I slowed down playing Borderlands 2 knowing a Ultimate edition will come out later on.

Yi-Long4483d ago

Well, alot of people refuse to buy a game that's DLC-milking, thus not buying the game at all, nor any of the DLC.

So IF the developers/publishers want to make money from us, then they better release such a GOTY while the game is still somewhat in our minds, instead of us already having lost interest altogether.

" That's the reason why I slowed down playing Borderlands 2 knowing a Ultimate edition will come out later on."

Dammit! I knew it was another game in my backlog that I needed to finish before November 15 & 22nd. I'm only a level 18 in Bordlerlands 2, and I'm no where near finishing the game lol.

Could Anthem live on? Tech allowing local server hosting existed, former executive producer says

BioWare's multiplayer shooter Anthem was terminated this week because EA no longer wanted to maintain servers for people to play the game on, and without them, no one can play the game. But the former executive producer of Anthem has revealed that BioWare had technology working, close to the game's release, that would enable us to host our own servers to play the game on.

EA/Bioware should allow us to host our own servers to let this game live on.

I'd be fine just playing it as a localhost and dumb as rocks AI bots. Just give me the choice.

Best Puzzle Game of 2025

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "When you think about it, the essence of every game is problem-solving in one way or another. For the puzzle genre, that's expressed through a series of brainteasers. A challenge is placed at your feet and you're pushed to understand it with limited contextual clues. From industry veterans to relative newbies, familiar franchises to brand-new IPs, 2025 saw a deluge of impressive puzzlers. Among our finalists are not merely well-designed templates based on familiar staples; a couple move the genre forward in interesting directions."
