Last year's trip to the Games Convention in Leipzig didn't offer that many surprises to IGN. But among the few surprises it offered up, none was more intriguing or exciting than Creative Assembly's announcement of the latest game in their extraordinary Total War series. Empire: Total War finally brings the strategy series into the early modern period and opens up a wealth of new gameplay options.
IGN have been eager to hear more about the game ever since that first closed-door meeting in Germany and they are happy to say the team has finally agreed to offer up some answers. They put their questions to lead designer James Russell and his answers have made them even more excited about the direction the new title is heading.

It’s Total War Week at the Humble Store. Games in the popular strategy franchise are up to 75 percent off.
PC Invasion: Classic Total War games such as Medieval II, Empire, and Napoleon now have their Definitive Editions which includes all the DLC. Players who already own the respective base games get the DLC as a free update.

If you didn't know, Time Commanders was a TV show that ran for 3 series back into the early noughties.
