Nice, they got the missing car issues fixed.

minimur124617d ago

Has anyone else noticed that when in LA Customs the upgrade bars, are now in blocks and not jhust a single line?

Or was it always like that??

Emilio_Estevez4617d ago

I did notice that actually. Thought I was imagining things.

minimur124617d ago

So it is actually something different - wasn't sure. I wonder if there's anything else that's changed we don't know about.... haha

GarrusVakarian4618d ago

So glad they fixed the disappearing cars bug. Now i can finally spend my heist money without worrying about the cars going missing from my safehouse garage.

ABeastNamedTariq4618d ago

I couldn't even connect to a match. :(

HeyImBen114618d ago

No one can... you should read the stuff you are posting on.

Stsonic4618d ago

did they fix pop in sometimes buildings take a few seconds to render properly and on a few occasions npc will dissapear. ps3.

GarrusVakarian4618d ago

Never had that, you playing digital version (i know the digital version is buggy as hell).

HammadTheBeast4618d ago

I'm on digital, there's the occasional pop up for me when I'm either going really fast or it's a fast moving scene/cut scene. Otherwise minor details.

Stsonic4618d ago (Edited 4618d ago )

no I have disc and super slim. Also an upgraded hard drive.

BISHOP-BRASIL4618d ago (Edited 4618d ago )

I too have the disc version on PS3 and not only had seen NPCs desappear and some pop-in, but I had the funniest glitch ever: Michael's clone!

I was playing with Michael, went inside Trevor's place, switched over to Michael, back to Trevor and than again to Michael (one right after another). And there I was, controlling one Michael and a second Michael was right beside me (the place I was before switching). I taunted the doppleganger into a fight, just like a common pedestrian... Beated myself with a crowbar! Epic!

EDIT: I was playing initially with TREVOR not Michael (my bad), Michael was just laying on the sofa with the hostage [name not given to avoid spoiler].

I also had seen both the Hostage and Franklin's aunt duplicate plenty of times... There are plenty of bug/glitchs in this game even on PS3 disc version, but it's no dealbreaker, some are actually lots of fun, like when I switched to Franklyn and he was somehow abandoning my fine bike under the water, I first thought it was some random event I had not seen before, so I desperately swin to surface while my bike is sinking and to my surprise I come out in one those shallow concrete channels of LA river (so shallow that Franklyn simply stand up and the water is knee deep)! It appears Frankly simply spawned under the map when I switched... LOL

AiirJordann234618d ago

my cars disappeared too, so i just stole a bugatti and saved it in my house garage, but glad they fixed it.

Pintheshadows4618d ago

I'm still amazed that they haven't got in trouble for the car likenesses. One of the cars doesn't look like a BMW 5 series from the side profile, it is a BMW 5 series from the side profile. They have just changed the front and rear lights slightly.

TechRaptor4618d ago

What about the "Corqette?!?!"

Pintheshadows4618d ago (Edited 4618d ago )

There are tons in fairness. The Bucaneer is a Pontiac GTO, the Gauntlet a new Challenger, the Coquette to me is where the Corvette should be going styling wise, there is an SLS AMG mixed with a Jaguar F Type, the Adder, the R8 lookalike, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage look alike. It goes on and on down to a standard hatchback or the brand new Range Rover which isn't even altered from what it looks like in real life. The Entity is a blatant Koenigsegg. The Elegy is a Nissan GTR.

HammadTheBeast4618d ago

Basically an Audi R8 but with the Audi logo cut in half lol.

BISHOP-BRASIL4618d ago

Got in trouble? Those companies should be giving R* some money for the free advertising!

PlayStation Store’s top downloads of 2025

O'Dell Harmon Jr. writes: "Before we say goodbye to 2025, let’s take a look back and see what were the most downloaded games of the year. It was a great time for sports, shooters, and some new PlayStation VR2 games. Sports favorites topped the charts in US/Canada and EU, with NBA 2K26 and EA Sports FC26, respectively.

Juggernaut GTA V found a home in the top three for both regions, with new 2025 release Battlefield 6 claiming second place in the US. Fortnite took top place for free-to-play games, and Beat Saber continues its PS VR2 success."

FH5 4th in Europe compared to North America 14th. Not surprising.

LucasRuinedChildhood129d ago

I think it shows how shortsighted it was for Sony to let go of Evolution and not get them to make some sort of competitor (open world Driveclub?) 10 years ago.

bionicstar129d ago (Edited 129d ago )

its a hard bet to make. hindsight is always 20/20.

Christopher129d ago

After Driveclub's reception, hard to say it would have done well enough to compete. It's easy to dream of such a thing, but to make it happen? It's taken how long for CoD to be dethroned? And it was dethroned by Hogwart's Legacy and has gained it right back just the next year.

It’s funny to watch the only games EU and USA agree on was Minecraft and back ops 7 both regions on 6 and 7 spot respectively other than that FIFA rules EU

gold_drake129d ago

yeh, football is really popular here in europe ha

I would like to see a list that has both free to play and paid games together, but at least we have this.

To this day GTA5 is a top downloaded game and it makes me wonder if the industry is really ready for GTA6. I imagine almost nothing else will sell during that game's release window.

I’ve never played Fortnite GTAV or CoD BO7 but I do own GTAV for PS4/5 because I got them cheap.

gold_drake137d ago

i think we should either take those games out, or make a singleplayer list too ha

badboyz09137d ago

I still play gta V alot. The others nah.

Popsicle137d ago

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Tacoboto137d ago

What exactly are we not getting?

Did we not just have a 2025 filled with nice games like...

Silksong, Doom TDA, Expedition 33, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Ghost of Yotei, Dispatch, Split Fiction, Hades 2, DK Bananza, and so many more?

Popsicle137d ago

Agree that all you just posted are great games. Expedition 33 is one of my favorites. Spent a large chunk of time on BG3 in 2023. Another for my all-time list.

My point though not well articulated in the OG post is that we would get more of the games of the quality you mentioned if so many valuable resources were not allocated to FTP slop and/or heavy monetization schemes. Some of what used to be my favorite franchises have been ruined by them.

To sum it up, I would like to see games like 33 outperform the profits made by games like Fortnite so more resources are allocated to great games. When heavily monetized FTP games are at the top of the list, we end up being stuck with a significant chunk of games that are not good. Or worst case scenario games that spend years in development, but get cancelled due to industry trend chasing.

cloganart137d ago

Such a pessimistic view. This year gave so many good games.

Christopher137d ago

Popsicle, I actually think we're getting more great games because of the slop. Developers are seeing that people aren't happy and taking advantage of big AAA studios not delivering for people.

Popsicle137d ago (Edited 137d ago )

Perhaps, and I hope you’re right. A shift is needed IMO
