Disappointed that they allowed the content to be charged for on the 360 and then turn around and dump it for free on PC.

So do we blame Bioware? EA? or MS?....screw it... I blame them all.

darkness within6613d ago

well it gives an incentive to buy the game for pc owners who wait.
And pc gamers never pay for content so why start now?

DomUltra6613d ago

They've never charged PC gamers for additional content unless it's an expansion, this is common business practice and it's been traditional for more than a decade.

okcomputer6613d ago

Pc gamers never pay for content? Tell that to all those mmorpg players forking over monthly fees just to play a game they've already bought.

jackdoe6613d ago

Paying for 24 hour a day dedicated servers isn't quite the same as paying for maps.

meepmoopmeep6613d ago

looks like waiting for the PC version is going to pay off.
kinda dumb to charge Live users though if PC is free

That's nice for PC owners and kind of a stab in the back for 360 owners. Imagine the outrage though, if the Variety Map Pack for CoD 4 was made FREE for the PC owners?

Ariexv6613d ago

It is, users already re-created the exact same maps on PC and you can DL them for free.

Another superior PC port of a 360 exclusive. Nice. I'll be picking this up when it hits, I enjoyed the little bit I played of it.

LeonSKennedy4Life6613d ago

Agreed.

My only complaint is that your PC has to be a BEAST to run Gears of War smoothly.

Then again, your 360 has to be a PS3 to run it smoothly...

Mass Effect - N7 DAY 2025

Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed

Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.

toxic-inferno200d ago

I feel the same way.

I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?

Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.

Profchaos200d ago

Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

jznrpg200d ago

I still haven’t beat Andromeda. I am waiting for a lull of good games in my backlog

P_Bomb200d ago

So the TV show will take place after the OG trilogy. I wonder which ending they’ll use?

Rebel_Scum200d ago

Should’ve just posted a picture of an Elcor saying “regretfully, we have nothing to share.”

Good games but no Phantasy Star?

merlox1095d ago

Why do people forget Phantasy Star? That is one of my favorite RPG series. Another ther good but overlooked series is ,Y's.

anast1095d ago

ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.
