I'll say around 2015, due to the performance upgrades capabilities that the current hardware will struggle with.

I think the PS3 can last a full 10 years, so 2016 seems fitting. Perhaps a bit earlier for the 360.

Microsoft has already made a statement that they will support Xbox until 2015, so its at least another year from them.

Yui_Suzumiya4626d ago

I'm thinking 2015 also or at least waning support with all big developers switching 100% over to PC, PS4 and Xbox One development.

i say 360 from either 2013-2015,ps3 from either 2013-2018,lol sony supports their old systems for a long time

Majin-vegeta4626d ago

Well the wii is dead the 360 is on life support and the PS3 is still chugging like a champ.

DEATHxTHExKIDx4626d ago (Edited 4626d ago )

Didnt Sony and Microsoft say PS3/360 are getting support till 2016? I know I at least will still be buying games for them both in 2014. Im glad they arent just dropping them once Next gen hits like Nintendo did.
