u guys enjoy, im holding off for the ps4 version. pretty much bc once i start playing this game i wont touch another game for another year n a half, and there is still gamng to be had XD. i prob wont even touch the ps4 games bc of gtaV hah. so ill just wait for a fuller experience thats all. im sure a lot of ppl think im stupid and disagree, but w/e gonna go enjoy some KZ mercs and finish up this gen playing the ps3 n psp games i missed, playing the vita aswell waiting for the ps4 *desperatly tries to justify his decition* lol.

you guys aren't really asking why in 6 months+ are you? You really think they will do it 3 months after the PS4 launches? First off, they want to utilize as much sales as possible. Secondly, when has rockstar ever release a GOTY edition of GTA the followng year? Complete edition came out two years later for GTA 4.

If they happen to announce it at VGA's, what do you expect the release to be then? Surely not January, they want to peak players interest in upgrading. Most likely a March to June release which falls in the 6 -8 month period. It's not simply just porting the game over in less than a month or have it already made. It's about releasing it at the right time, this is their highest spent production yet no need to rush their game into a small user base, even if it is a million to two PS4 bought 80 million PS3's sound better

Hopefully alot more pedestrians, cause the streets seem pretty deserted, when I took a look at some streams.

Also, I hope they'll include all the pre-order DLC in the next-gen version, instead of milking and diming us again.

Personally, I'll wait, for numerous reasons, but the DLC is certainly a factor for me.

Game looks tremendous, so I really want to enjoy it in FullHD on next-gen, instead of playing it now on consoles that can hardly cope with the huge ambitions this game has.

We'll get next gen versions after the DLC is out. That way they'll have an added value proposition by which to justify the release.

Didn't Nvidia say it was coming this autumn to PC.

6 months is fine for me, no need to play on limited console when pc is def coming out and will probably come out with next gen versions. either way, rockstar made all the money back on pre orders only, so from now on its all profit.

I'd rather have the PS4 version than the PC one, just because my friends list is better on PlayStation. But I'm definitely holding out for one or the other, because I'm having a hard time buying another current-gen game with next-gen right around the corner.

That's the reason they have been trying to hide any information of a pc/next gen release. Otherwise their sales on the 360/ps3 would be cut in half since the next gen consoles are just 2 months away.

You guys can't possible be that naive. There is also a business end to things. Ya know, where a company has to make money in order to pay the bills. LA Noire is not GTA...not even in the same league.

GTA is R* flagship franchise. The reason Microsoft pays so much money is because the costs have to be covered. Sony doesn't get some kind of discount.

GTA4 has sold over 25 million copies since release...GTA5 is expected to be even bigger....you think R* would miss out on that many sales without any compensation to make up for it? You think they'd miss out on any next gen sales by making its biggest grossing title exclusive.

Stop for a second..and think about this logically, and not like it's ok simply because it's Sony.

What will it need to compensate for? WTF..the lost sales of a multiplat game not coming to another platform.

Some people must really think games are made of fairy dust and happy smiles. Companies want to maximize sales and R* wouldn't benefit from making its biggest franchise exclusive without any compensation to make up for those lost sales.

I dunno theWB27, after being here a few years, I'm convinced that rabid fanboyism may actually kill off braincells.

I think what Unrivaled means is when the game comes out in a few days everyone is going to buy it. This game on this current console is going to blow away any sales that R* has ever seen before. And thats not even counting the holiday season coming up.

If they just gave the PS4 the exclusive it's only going be gravy on top of their piles of money. Think of it as like the HD Collection of things we have now.

But the big thing is if R* is releasing it on PC, the PS4 has more normal hardware like PC's do. The Xbox One has their own tech. Or maybe they just didn't get the Xbox kit in time since PS4 kinda had a headstart on everything.

First, although the X1 is more custom, it's still close to PC tech. If they can develop simultaneous for PS360, two VERY different architectures, X1 and PS4 would be a cakewalk, Not the problem.

Secondly, I don't know how else to say this, GTA is unlike ANY other franchise out there. There is no gravy on top of releasing GTA on a single platform. PERIOD..it sells too much to gimp it. Activision wouldn't do it with COD. It's a silly pipe dream...let go.

Honestly I could care less if it came to PC or any of the next-gen.

But what about Red Dead Redemption? How much money would R* get if that went to PC? How many of R*'s fans are still wanting it to come to PC? But they didn't do it.

All I'm saying is nobody is going to wait for next gen to buy the game. I know I won't. But at the same time I'll probably will buy it for next gen. So thats just more money from one consumer. Thats probably how it will go down for most people.

GTA V will dominate in sales in this Gen. And if Sony has to throw a little cash at R* plus getting the PS4 sales. Letting X1 go is not going to make them regret it. Because they will already be doing more than well. Thats not even including sales from PC.

But like I said It could just be that X1 didn't get their Dev Kit to them in time to be put into the code at that point. Or PS4 will Have Exclusive. Or it's nothing at all. There's a lot of games out there that have weird codes in them that don't even have to do with the game. Who knows
