Ok now I'm confused.... MewTwo...Two...TWO? Also is that a Mega Garchomp?!?!?! Prepare for Armageddon people ;)

Also the article talks of the 6th gen starter evolutions but I cant find any pics that would possibly resemble them. Can anyone else see anything I've missed?

CaptainSheep4634d ago

Probably a version exclusive. The old one is probably for X and this one is for Y.

And I'm wondering the same. No pictures of the evolutions. Also, am I the only one who wants MegaMETAGROSS? Seriously, you could just call it MegaGross.

"Probably a version exclusive. The old one is probably for X and this one is for Y."

Yup its looking that way. Hoping to get some info soon on version exclusives so I can make choice between X or Y.

Mega Metagross would be badass and considering garchomp is getting a megalution it appears its something every Final form/single form could end up having!

"And I'm wondering the same. No pictures of the evolutions."

just had a quick look back at the article and they've uploaded some... not really impressed with them to be honest. Hopefully the final forms for the starters will be of better design.

I am surprised that I actually like the grass type Pokemon starter the best this far. is there any pictures of the last evolution.

Does it even really matter about these mega evolutions? The mega evolutions I want are from pokemn that are most likely not gonna be in the games. I doubt they'll have the starters from past games in there for you to use or able to catch all 630 something pokemon.

Oh for the love of god this is becoming ridiculous now...a second mega form <sigh>

TekoIie4634d ago (Edited 4634d ago )

Its actually one the things which leads me to think this could be fake :/

EDIT: Appears that they could be version exclusive.

_QQ_4634d ago

They are taking the new fire starter in the wrong direction, should be on all 4s

kirbyu4634d ago

The fact it isn't on all 4s probably means it's Fire/Fighting.

RockmanII74634d ago

There's more rumors of it being Fire/Psychic, and that the stick in its tail will be a kind of wand or staff.

Samus HD4634d ago

Sh!t Again.. I dont like it one bit.. how the last fire starters turned out to be fighting type as well.. Blaziken lost its originality and it became boring

Blastoise4634d ago

Woah woah woah. What the heck is that Blastoise?

MightyNo94634d ago

You haven't seen Mega Blastoise yet? xD

Making Pokémon 3D Was A Mistake

Pokémon’s shift to 3D was a big mistake, as the series’ roots in 2D design make it difficult to transfer important game mechanics into a 3D overworld.

why do other games pull off 3D monster collecting JRPG games just fine? Look at Jade Cocoon and Shin Megami Tensei for examples.

Answer should be obvious.

No other videogame franchise is as merchandise driven as Pokémon

Nintendo 3DS Games We Still Love Playing Even Today

BLG writes: "While it didn’t sell as well as the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS was nonetheless a wonderful system. And, while this may be a hot take, it’s easily my favorite handheld. Even more than a decade removed from launch, the system’s library has so many titles that feel as fresh today as they did back at release. While it was hard to narrow down, these 30 Nintendo 3DS games are emblematic of the system’s success."

When Will The Pokemon Company Introduce a New Typing?

The Pokemon Company has a solid thing going right now. Well, it’s been going on for a while, actually, but it has been a while since a new typing has been introduced to the popular monster-taming series. The latest one, Fairy type, was introduced back in Generation VI (Pokemon X & Y), so it does seem like it is time to bring in a new one. Check out Jason Capp's article for more.
