By David: Junk Jack X is yet another crafting game not unlike Minecraft and Terraria, and while it offers pretty much the same type of gameplay, it can be pretty interesting to see exactly how this game differentiates from other titles of the same genre. This sequel of the original Junk Jack X takes whatever element has worked in the first game and tweaked it a little bit while also providing players the chance to go online and play with friends. This further adds to the playability of this game and may well be worth some game time for fans of crafting games in general. Here’s our guide to help you out through the first few hours of Junk Jack X.

Junk Jack X is a game for iOS devices, that is, in short, best described as a 2D sandbox adventure. The game allows you to explore, build, and survive in randomly generated procedural worlds that are fraught with dangers such as monsters, but containing treasures and beautiful landscapes. The game also has a “creative mode” that allows you for more leeway when it comes to building, over 400 different wearable items, and a couple multiplayer modes, with local multiplayer supporting up to four people. So if you’ve just started playing the game, we’ll make it easy for you by enumerating some Junk Jack X tips and tricks to help you survive early on.

TTP:" Junk Jack X, the engaging game developed by Pixbits, has received a brand new update which introduces quite a bit of new content to the game."

TouchArcade: Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the States, and as with pretty much any major holiday developer Pixbits have updated their phenomenal crafting adventure game Junk Jack X [$4.99] with holiday-themed content. There's a new Pocket Turkey rare pet, a craftable hay bale block, new dyeable wood panels which can be coupled with the new sloped barn roof and supports so you can build your very own barn(!), and finally there's a Thanksgiving zombie that will drop a rare "weapon" should you come across it. Yes, they put "weapon" in quotes because I imagine it's something silly like a turkey leg or maybe a poisonous buckled hat.
