GamersNexus: "Intel is the first company to publicly make moves toward consumer-overclockable SSDs; in our video interview with them, SSD Marketing Specialist Justin Whitney walks us through a 'how to overclock your SSD' lab, talks about the technology, and covers the prototype basics. It was emphasized heavily that SSD overclocking is a prototype technology (and, in fact, was being demoed for the first time at PAX on prototype drives), so Intel needs your input before they even decide if they're going to market. Check out the video below, then leave a comment and let us know what you think of SSD overclocking and if it's something you'd be interested in doing."

Intel Gamer Days 2025 runs from August 25 to September 7, offering massive savings plus a free copy of Battlefield 6.

This is very interesting. I do love overclocking my system, and have it all under water to do so. Even so, I don't think I would ever overclock my SSD unless I knew 110% that it would continually be stable.
That's where your OS is stored and it's just not something you want becoming corrupted. A failed overclock on the cpu or gpu however just usually events to a system reset and backing down the clocks with no harm done. There is a reason that's more universally practiced.
Also at 4:05, they are talking about overclocking a ssd and have a mineral liquid cooled system to show it off. Yet the only piece they don't have under the liquid cooling is the ssd!!?? Makes no sense.
