Blending exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving, SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is set to feature references and humour from the hit Nickelodeon TV animated series. Coming to European territories this autumn, SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is currently in development for Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

GamesAsylum: "It’s hard not to be cynical whenever Activision announces a new licensed game. This is the publisher who gave the world the not only terrible but downright offensive Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, along with an almost countless number of movie tie-ins that have been hastily knocked out over the years.
We did have a small glimmer of hope before slotting this new SpongeBob game into our console though. It’s by Behaviour Interactive, who made the actually pretty good Rango and Brave tie-ins. If only Activison was as concerning over quality as the publishers of those two"

Darryl Linington from ITF Gaming writes: We have all experienced the antics of SpongeBob SquarePants at some point or other in our lives, either as adults or as teens or kids. While this zany character has been featured in various video game titles and other forms of media… does his latest adventure, SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge, live up to the legacy that this character has created?

BioGamer Girl states, "Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge is a simplistic, fully functional game that won't offer experienced gamers anything worth getting excited about, but it does make a great title for very young gamers that want to play the game on their first console."
YUS.
Awesome. I hope this new team does it justice. I love Spongebob. I'm glad we finally get a game on PS3!
