Wish the would make Wireless G in the 3000....it's too slow currently. Anyways, yes, it's a great portable device, when it works(my stupid internet-Remote play never works).

are u trying to get remote play to work within the ps3 range or u trying to connect from someone elses wireless internet and connect to your ps3 through the internet?

For sure. It always times out after 90 seconds. IT signs me in then goes to that black screen and sits there.

mine connect remotely through ps3 and wireless internet at home, but if i go on someone elses just times out after awhile, people tell me i can't do that then others tell me you can, but i don't know anyone whos got it working

this news article is promoting illegal download for a price. Downloading illegally is wrong, and paying for it is even more wrong...u can get this for free if u know what the hell you are doing. But i support legal software. Dude, get your own.

Does the 24 hr rule apply to where after 24 hrs you erase the rom?
How about if you own the rom, like if I actually bought the physical cartridge Super Mario Bros. 3 then can I keep the rom, I heard that this is legal, what do you think?

The answer to that lies in legal purgatory. Lets say you have a cartridge of SMB3, you can have a rom of it IF AND ONLY IF the rom is from the cartridge that you own. 24 hour rule or not, if the rom is not from YOUR copy of the game, then it is illegal.

Ok pal, what was the last good DS game to come out?

If you really want to stretch things you could say Apollo Justice, but that is a niche title, really pushing the envelope.

The DS is in a drought right now, Besides a couple of Square Enix titles there is NOTHING of any real importance coming out for it.

With the releases of Crisis Core and Chains of Olympus the PSP finally surpassed the DS as the best handheld gaming device.

I didn't disagree with you, but I do have a comment...

Too bad the games you mention are about the only truly awesome games on the PSP. It's just my opinion, but 98% of the PSP's library is garbage, just like the DS.

Sony is doing a tremendous job marketing the PSP, but most of the features that Sony is adding are ancillary to gaming. Skype? Nice touch, but doesn't make the games any better. I use mine for internet radio more than games these days, and I find that sad.

i gotta agree with you. I own both, but the last game I bought for my DS was Zelda back in like October. since then nothing has come out that strikes my eye.

I disagree with your statement.(without using the disagree button) I have found some tremendous games on the PSP. Hot Shots, Field Commander, all of the Metal Gears, both Syphon Filters, Jeanne D'arc, etc. I think the biggest problem with the PSP is that with "near PS2 graphics" people expect near PS2 content. It just ain't gonna happen with the 1.8gb UMD. I don't see any games with multiple UMDs either as that would take away from the portable aspect.
I think people fail to keep the PSP's hardware limitations in mind when looking at games.

i don't know what to without my phone or psp..i need both to function thru-out the day...i used pandora's to mod my psp, so now its even better than before...any who i could have been said that the PSP beats the DS by a long shot, touch screen isn't all that cool now...anywho...the psp is great - gaming, internet, music, video, pictures wise

This ain't news... These articles are just commercial messages, things everyone already knows and these shouldn't be posted as news anymore.

I know the Sony Protection Group/Defence Force is working to get as much PSP/PS3 positive news out here on N4G, but this is getting pretty boring, even for yourself I guess.

there's this part at the bottom that really messes up the article...

If you click on the Free PSP downloads link it just provides you with the all famous PSP blender - Torrent Scam (for $37)... This gives me the idea the whole idea of the article was to pamper the PSP and then get the poor readers to signup for the Scam affiliate program.

mr. gates, sir if you dont mind, but where is your portable device? i would love to play a xpalm 180 or something..please i want one..oops im sorry...you dont have one..and as for the ps3 being a flop why are they outselling the 360s now? a complete home entertainment center? please! its be confirmed that the ps3 is the best for an entertainment center, and do you know why its not alot of games for the ps3? because of the specs, its not easy to code for the ps3..and no i am not making up an excuse...even though its been a year, devs still havent got the full potential of the ps3 yet, we all know that the Xeno chip is powerful than the RSX, but once you combine with the Cell, is unstoppable...so stop bashing on the ps3, for ever thing the 360 has, i can counter it

I had both ds lite and psp. I sold my ds lite. I use my psp everyday. I use every function, some more than others. I also enjoy the updates. Sony has really understood there custmer base. I hope they never stop trying to add new functions to the device. All I need is my phone and my psp. Every one complains about the size of the psp. I love it. Perfect size. If you are worried about scratching it just get a crystal case and away you go.

the ps3 fails at games but the only reason its better for an home entertainment thing is cause of blu ray... if it didnt have that then 360 would be better. what i dont get is why all you sony droids think yo are good when the ps3 outsells 360 for s short amount of time when the 360 has been outselling the ps3 for ages???

Field Commander, Final Fantasy Crisis Core, God of War, Grand Theft Auto LCS, Grand Theft Auto VCS, Killzone Liberation, Patapon, Wipeout, Metal Gear, Syphon Filter, Jeanne D'arc, Hot Shots Golf, Beats, just to name a few. Not to mention PSone downloads in the palm of your hand.

Then we add in the multimedia functions and the PSP is true greatness.
