I’m not sure what the exact issue is. I had no trouble getting the free update—you basically get the new game for free if you have the 360 version in your digital library. Maybe the problem is related to owning or not owning the Undead DLC expansion.

Remember when this game first came out and you finally unlocked that upper region. Where all the bears live. That first time walking around or riding a horse in the woods and then you hear that heavy breathing. Spin the camera view around and a massive bear is right on you. Man that was freaky as hell, lol. After that you'd always walk in the woods spinning that view around constantly. Just looking for bears rushing in.
