Bethesda Softworks released the final Dishonored downloadable content expansion, The Brigmore Witches, last week for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The DLC has been well received and was given a highly positive review from our very own Tanya Valdez, who gave the DLC a rating of 4/5 – the full Game On review can be read here. On Aug. 20, Seth Shain, Systems Designer and Associate Producer at Arkane Studios, shared with Examiner new information about the development of The Brigmore Witches and Dishonored DLC, in general.
When asked if the Brigmore Witches was something left out of the original game, Shain explained that as development of Dishonored neared completion, the studio began to discuss and figure out what type of downloadable content they could possibly make for the title.

Half-Life 2 art director and Dishonored designer Viktor Antonov has died aged just 52.
One of my biggest art heroes. His work and vision were truly one of a kind, and he’s been a huge inspiration to my own work. Such a heartbreaking loss.
Remember seeing Dishonored for the first time when it released, fell in love with the art style straight away, so striking! And because of it, still holds up and will for years to come, RIP Viktor
So sad to hear this. I absolutely love the Dishonored series and love the world and art style. It looks great and unique. I'm still hoping for a Dishonored 3

WolfEye Studios president and co-founder of Arkane Studios Raphaël Colantonio has said Dishonored and Prey fans “will be happy” with his new studio's next game.
Ouch, already placing a sales cap on this is potentially bad as these games never seem to sell all too well. Hopefully the budget is in check so no one gets laid off after launch.
Fuck yeah. Even if it’s just a spiritual successor I want more titles like Dishonored in terms of art style, design and gameplay

"As a developer - and as a player - it's always sad and it always sucks to see studios close and devs lose their jobs. I really hope all those people land on their feet, because I know our indusutry is better with them in it," Patel tells the outlet. "As for me and how I look at things, I guess first and foremost: I don't believe in living in fear," the Avowed director.
Then gets shut down the next day. They should know better than to talk crazy like that.
