The Wii U isn’t doing so well on the market right now. The lack of games and the underpowered hardware compared to the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One is bound to hold it back to some extent. With that said, there are still some ways Nintendo can get pass the problem with Wii U. In this GVN Discussion the staff takes a look at three of the options Nintendo can do to help solve the problem the Wii U is having.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
Right now it's games. But they are coming.
@jeff
Youre the same guy who chewed me out for criticizing nintendo's self destructive and ineffective piracy policies, and now youre calling me a DRONE?
Bayonetta 2, which i wont compare to the first game, but by far the best looking action game of last gen, GOW:A. Bayonetta 2 is confirmed to run in 1080p and 60fps, while GOW:A is 720p and fluctuates around 35-45 fps. Hell, compare bayonetta 2 to platinum's last game (which came out in 2013), metal gear rising. Bayonetta 2 looks miles better, and at a higher resolution. So in its second year, 2014, the unoptimized wii u is outgunning the best looking action games of last gen by a respectable margin. Not bad, and certainly not last gen.

The system is selling at a loss, therefore it isnt technically overpriced. And its clear the system is more than capable at what its striving to do, which is definitely not be a ps4.
Wii U will be fine once it gets more quality software
The problem is simple and the same as the Dreamcast.
Right now there is a heavier weight of anticipation for the PS4 & XB1 so many gamers are skipping Wii U to get one or both of the other systems
The same thing happened 13 years ago with the Dreamcast, and it suffered heavily cause many people wanted a PS2 since it was a gaming machine and a DVD player but thats aside the point.
