second, you talk about not selling games........ ok if you havent noticed, the 360 has sold how many consoles in america compared to the ps3. i think the 360 has somewhere around 8 million sold here while the ps3 has 4 million sold here. so thats double the install base for 360's in america. if the ps3 was being brought as a bluray player only then thats a hell of alot of software being sold because ps3 owners are buying just as many games as 360 owners.

and then you talk about games not being in the top 15. HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT A GAME FOR THE PS3 TO BE IN THE TOP 10 WHEN THE 360 HAS SO MANY UNITS IN HOMES COMPARED TO THE PS3.

and lastly, the ps3 has no games? im not even going to answer that one because its pathetic to say that now.

They both sell at more or less the same ratio as each other. So if the 360 sells 2 million copies at a install of 18 million, then the PS3 will usually sell about half that, so they would sell like around 1 million or more at a install base of around 11 million. Notice that th PS3 outsold the 360 again this month yet software sales are nowhere near what they should be.However if you look into it you will find that Blu Ray movie sales are on the rise while PS3 software isnt. Thats more than enough proof that the PS3 is only being used as a movie player by the majority of owners. Anything said beyond that is just spin trying to make it not look as bad as it is. When Blu ray goes from 2% of sales to 9% of movie sales over all and Sony still cant get in the top 10 for game sales, it is time to admit defeat.

Almost 20 million 360 vs 10 million PS3 and NOBODY is buying PS3 games. People buy them for BD DVD . It would be one thing IF they did buy games but they are NOT. 360 has an attach rate of 8 games PER SYSTEM the PS3 in NO WHERE near that. As it stands now for every 1 PS3 game sold 6 360 games get sold. OUCH!!!

This is just the American numbers, there are 11.5mil X360's to 4.5mil PS3's (over 2.5 X360's for every 1 PS3, just in the US). As of right now the PS3 has a better attach rate if you just look at this month(ratio wise) but the X360 wins if you look since launch with the 1 year headstart because owners have had an extra year to collect games. As of right now I have 8 games for my PS3 which could easily double by the end of this year(23 BD movies also)
