Will Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Get A Simultaneous Release?

Enix Origins is ready for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, but when is it going to release? It seems like Square has been really hush hush about the release date for this game and all Square says is “later this year”. But does that mean later this year for Japan or later this year for everyone. According to the newest issue of Shounen Jump, it’s slated for this year for Japan, America, and Europe.

Simultaneous Release would be great.

Xof4692d ago

Remember when Square Enix committed themselves to simultaneous releases for all of their future games, made a big deal out of it, yet only managed to actually do it for a single title?

Yeah. I think it's a bit too much to hope for.

But odds are the releases will be close enough that it doesn't really matter.

I know right, I really think that's what will happen. Since it's been taking such a long time for anything really to come out about it I'm assuming that Square is doing the localization at the same time since trying to localize after releasing it in japan will take a few months which we don't have considering there isn't even a Japanese release date.

I just assumed this was the case anyways, but never good to assume.

Damn! Gg to Square Enix and Hasbro 🫨.

Chevalier316d ago

I think if helped they the prices for all these products were extremely high at launch. Like no other cross over had prices these high. LotR for example weren't even close to FF MTG prices

Those cards had awesome designs. I can see why they hit the market hard.

enkiduxiv316d ago

And to think, no one wants to buy the games anymore…
