Gaming Trend editor Breanna Goodman sits down with Extreme Motion, a software-based technology company that lets you play motion games with nothing more than a standard 2D camera.
I think they are trying to include every setup as a market, and that will lead to a lot of disappointed customers. This just feels like a money grab.
They should test and qualify a list of cameras with recommended devices and such. Because not all cameras have the same speed and memory or connection to move the data predictably.
I saw a demo on youtube when this lady was demoing a the tennis game they talked about:
It is like you have to hit the ball before the opposing player even hits it back. This is on a laptop they choose to demo. This can not be the worst case scenario. But it sure looks like it!

Sorry but this idea will fail. It is way of the mark and waaaay too slow. No evidence of increased velocity based on swing.
