CCC says: Literally one minute after Skylanders was announced, people started wondering when Nintendo would do the NFC figure thing with Pokemon. After all, a series about collecting them all with an already large and devoted fanbase seems a natural fit for a game that requires people to spend extra money on an assortment of extra figures. Well, Pokemon Rumble U is that game, and it's really better to think of it as a Pokemon Rumble successor that just happens to have NFC figures that go with it.
Their business practices aren’t perfect, but Nintendo makes games like nobody else. But they also have their fair share of games that nobody played.

Remember "toys"? Those things kids used to play with back in the day, before video games? Well Disney and Nintendo sure do. AUTOMATON's Graham Arthur reports on NFC toys, new and upcoming developments in the field, some of the issues they've faced so far, and some of the issues bound to arise. (Part 2 of 2)
Scanning amiibo for games they're not intended for produces some rather interesting results, as one fan's experiment shows with Pokémon Rumble U.
Wow I almost forgot about this game.... hmmmmm it seems we might have pokemon balls coming soon?
I played the original Wii demo a while ago but held of buying it after hearing about this. Same with the 3DS version. Strange that this is cheaper than the 3DS version but I guess the figures make up for that.
