Push Square: "We loved BreakQuest: Extra Evolution in its initial guise. The colourful Arkanoid-esque excursion earned a respectable 9/10 in our PlayStation Minis review, and now it’s smashing back into the spotlight courtesy of a spangly new PlayStation Vita port. But rather than adopt the same model as its predecessor, Ukrainian developer Beatshapers is aiming to experiment with a free-to-play format."

Game-Modo’s Travis Blair reached out to Beatshapers, a developer behind several PlayStation games found on various platforms, to learn about a company that seems to really enjoy gaming.

With powerful handheld devices like the PS Vita capable of playing intense console quality games on the go, its refreshing to have titles that are simple pick-up and play and overall, BreakQuest is a freemium title that is a nice companion to have on the go.
I kinda like games like this and Treasures of Montezumna, allowing you to jump in and out for a few mins at a time

With a staggering array of levels – each with their own commendable and challenging design – BreakQuest Extra Evolution is brimming with creative ideas. And though they may not have reinvented the primordial formula, Beatshapers' creation establishes an addictive environment where twitch gameplay reigns and reflexes are king.
I liked the visual style of this game so much. Also, Alexey is a hard-working and very friendly person. Good to see them getting some attention.
