All the way back on May 10th, 2006, back when the PS3 was just a twinkle in Kaz Hirai's eye (that had been under development for quite some time) an announcement told us, "Haze is scheduled for an early 2007 release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and will also be available on Windows PC DVD-ROM." The Xbox 360 and PC versions have dropped from sight and it's early 2008 and the game still ain't sat on retailers shelves.
Graphically, I can't say that Haze is amazing when held up against the likes of Uncharted or MotorStorm. That said, it does look good. Especially when you consider that, once the game's underway, there are no load screens. The closest you get is the odd momentary blackout akin to a scene change on TV – and even that could be gone by the time the final build is finished.
From what I've seen, Haze is a thoroughly entertaining, rich and intelligent shooter. It's not without its flaws, but they are far outweighed by the game's many assets. This game is going to be a must for any shooter fan with a big buxom PS3 sat in front of their TV."

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."
Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.

Guns, drugs, and unnecessary war. Fun for the whole family.
that there are going to be no loading screens for this game a plus in my book i might buy depending how good mp is also if you could use flying vehicles online that would push me to buy as well
still hope it comes o the 360, it's story looks good
Haze is one of my most anticipated games this year
it may look generic to the untrained eye, but if you look (and read) closely- you can tell its more FDR genius
and the story looks above average by FPS standard
the promising 4-player co-op is what seals the deal
first day buy
@ruibing
yeah man definitley
i already have some plans to get a couple mates round- some booze and play Haze throug-out the night
it will be interesting being drunk and *aherm*high*aherm*(drugs are bad kids) while using nectar in the game- a lot of fun im sure
Shooters don't necessarily need to be the most beautiful games...Halo 3 has good graphics, but what makes Halo 3 great is the smooth gameplay and great online multiplayer.
As long as Haze can stand up to Halo 3 graphically, and doesn't have framerate problems and still maintains a decent multiplayer experience without teleporting, etc, i think it will be worth a purchase.
I've been holding off on buying a shooter for my ps3 because i wan't an exclusive game such as Haze to fill that hole in my game library, because i'm very happy with the ps3 exclusives so far i.e warhawk and the other 2 games mentioned above.
Graphic's arent the be all and end all, although they have become the major selling point of any title. Haze look's like it will offer up a nice solid gameplay experience, and I'm sure will be enjoyed by those who give it the chance.
Personally, a demo wouldn't do any harm, it drops between some big titles, GTA/MGS, I probably wont buy it without a try, it's not like I'm going to be short for something to play and might not wanna risk wasting £40.
