Deus Ex: The Fall (iOS) [Review]

When a new Deus Ex game was announced, fans got quite excited. But when it was shown to be only for the iOS, it was like Square Enix’s announcement of The World Ends With You for the same platform all over again. It’s not really bad that a Deus Ex game would be released for mobile platforms, but it’s still rather unusual. As a game that is closely related to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, right down to the visual style, it may not be so bad after all. But still, it’s an iPad game, so prepare yourselves.

[Continue Play] Review Deus Ex: The Fall

Deus Ex: The Fall is the follow-up game to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Already out on iOS and Android devices, a PC port is coming this month.

While technically a tie-in game, The Fall follows directly on from the storyline set out in the novel Deus Ex: Icarus Effect. Instead of following the adventures of Adam Jensen, we are now plunged into the body of the ex-SAS cyborg, Ben Saxon. The only characters which cross over to the main game are The Tyrants, those awful boss antagonists from Human Revolution.
