Jason Schreier - Is Phoenix Wright going all Law & Order on us? Capcom's next lawyer game will be rated M—presumably not for Maya Fey—and people are totally freaking out about it.
Phoenix Wright games are always about bloody murder, and you always investigate crime scenes full of grisly-albeit-cartoonish evidence, but until now, every game in the series has been rated T for Teen. This next one, Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies, is M for Mature, maybe because it's in 3D? Or is the series taking a turn for the morbid?

All 21 Classic Games are playable for a limited time 🎮

Jason Dietz: "We reveal the past year's best and worst video game publishers (based on their 2025 releases) in the 16th edition of our annual Game Publisher Rankings."
But... but... the garbage-mongers always tell us that Square Enix is in trouble! 😂

Capcom has clarified its current stance on generative AI in its videogames. The major Japanese publisher and developer behind popular series like Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter has revealed that while it doesn't use gen-AI assets in their games, it is exploring ways to use generative AI to streamline the game development process.
Using Artificial Intelligence (more like Realistic Stupidity) art assets in your games is a great way to get people to boycott your product. We don't need that ugly, unsophisticated, generic, fake art in our games, good on CAPCOM for not using that garbage.
Naw you can't fool us, You work with Nvidia, that's a fact! And here you wanted to advertise but now look stupid!
I saw blood in the least trailer, it looked real enough for the esrb to say its for mature audience.
Seriously? That's very interesting can't wait to get my hands on this game :)
Well at least those who were teens before (when the series started) should be adults now anyway. But it sucks that today's teens can't play (unless their parents are cool with it).
I know that there's a lot of darkish content in the Phoenix games already, so this really shouldn't be surprising.
Still, though, I didn't really expect an M rated AA game. I hope the more lighthearted aspect doesn't go away or get diminished.
There a release window yet?
