There’s a pattern with The Elder Scrolls Online that has been broken. Sure the game has been in development for some time but with previous Elder Scrolls games the successor was often in the planning stages before its predecessor was released and there has been a minimum of 4 years between games. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was only released 2 years ago and although it’s still incredibly popular today, it’s still a far smaller window between releases than we saw previously.
Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk is now live for all platforms (including PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation), kicking off a new era for The Elder Scrolls Online. This inaugural Season is live from April 2 until July 8 and lays the foundation for all future Seasons by introducing new reward systems, the first wave of player-focused improvements, class and combat redesigns, new zones and challenges, and more.

Check out some of the rewards you can unlock and acquire in ESO’s first ever Tamriel Tome, arriving April 2, 2026.

Wth is MMM "Technology"?
Second, yeah their spending less time on Elder Scrolls Online than most other mmo's spend making their games, but maybe Bethesda is using the same engine as Skyrim (or an improved/modded version) to cut down on time. Time spent focusing on the newer elements such as online component, balancing classes, missions, etc.
I've felt from day one this was just a cash in on skyrim. I'm not saying it will be but that was my feeling when it was announced. I just dont see how this being an MMO can possibly top the solo experience from the actual games.
MMO Technology, hehe, dude is making up his own terms.
Because it's not the same people, that's why there's a smaller window between releases.
'no technologycal expertise' then shut the fuck up about.
also talking about the time gap between games, it's made by a whole different studio. And when they release the game in spring 2014, they have been working on it for 7 years.
