In the shot of snake aiming his gun up at the camera, the corpse on the left looks like it pooped itself. Nice attention to detail Kojima. Maybe the Disc will be like the Original GT1 Scratch and sniff....

.....i want this game. It looks absolutely awesome. I have got to say, the graphics look great, they seem to have improved a lot since it was first shown, and you know the story is going to be phenomenal. This game will be an absolute masterpiece. I can not wait.

the screens look good no doubt but nothing we havent seen before. The game will sell from a gameplay story and fanbase perspective but I am a little disappointed that there is nothing mind blowing about these screens, i honestly truly expected better and these aren't even gameplay.

MGS4 is not all about graphics. ( dont even dare to reply, Halo3, coff, coff)..but as i recall these latest previews said the game looked amazing in motion with tons of detail and amazing gameplay mechanics, they were even like "wow", epic. But i guess you ll never know, since you will miss this 50 GB game.

I ll wait for Gears2, sure, just dont count on it to look much better than UT3 or Gears...You make it sound like people should fear Gears2 graphically. There is nothing the 360 can do that we havent seen yet and that was proven in Halo 3 and Gears, which btw its still your graphicall benchmark after 2 years, go figure.
Meanwhile i will play the GOTY MGS4, LBP, Wipeout, Motorstorm2, and GT5P.

Am I the only 1 who doesn't think these screens look "stunning"? Sure the characters look OK but the environments and textures are horrible. Some of the environments look ps2ish, there are lots of games on the market right now that look better than this. I'm sure it will sell a lot because it's a very popular series but this game is FAR from a graphical masterpiece people are making it out to be.

Just cause you have this so far up you a$$or that your still blind to see. Sorry i am referring to the title and the screens as what the post is suppose to be about. Those screens lack color, atmosphere, lighting and high detail textures up close. Im sure the single player will be fun to play but i am skiping it until i get to play it first then i will decide if i should buy it. And i am not put my faith into multiplayer either when have they had a good track record of making a good FPs shooter online, UMmm try never so until they make me believe i am not giving it credit for nothing. Until then dont hate the player hate the game. BTW i own all systems out to date even handhelds.

these in game shots remind of me of call of duty 4. it didnt look good because it was runing off of cheapy component cables. when i connected my hdmi cables i was blown away. i truely believe that MGS4 will do the same. it will give you detailes when you kick up dirt and all the little details that all you hard core cod4 fans know about. just think outside the box for a minute and add hdmi cables to these snap shots.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

Motorstorm would be epic with the visual upgrade, maybe this game would be a harder sell with the genre being not as popular nowadays..

Resistance franchise, Motorstorm and Dirt 2 which was fun as heck. Add Dead Space 2 as well.

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.
