The first game Im buying for my Quad :-)

Can't wait to play this with Nvidia GTX 770 4GB SLI setup and the new Intel i7 Haswell architecture overclocked to 4.6 GHz ^_^

After playing w2 this is a day 1. I will have to wait for reviews to see which version I will get.

As someone who will most likely get the PC version I am not sure if I should view this as a good or bad thing.

So there you have it guys, these guys must be too lazy or not talented enough to make the ps4 version vastly superior. The average gamer does not look at the trees and say well this tree has more bark detail compared to this other one, or that building 5 miles away is all perfectly textured, nobody gives a crap about that stuff, they just want a fun experience and thats what matters, graphics come second.

oh so they're developing the game on already outdated hardware so that the games true beauty will not be realized? No, I wish they did what they did for witcher 2 and make sure the PC version was developed first, and was developed to be the best, then ported it to consoles.

if the game doesn't require downscaling after being developed on cheap 400 dollar hardware that is already outdated vastly by top of the line PC hardware, then there is extreme cause for alarm. it shows they aren't pushing the visuals as much as they could, all thanks to consoles

Also I really feel they are blowing smoke with that comment. You mean to tell me the console version will perform at a framerate above 60 fps and a resolution of 1080p or above? with all the bells and whistles of the PC version? On 400-500 dollar hardware? That is preposterous

just PR talk. I'm sure PC version will have settings consoles can't handle, and I'm very sure PC version will support 1440p or 1600p or above.

there's no decision to be made. I have a gaming PC and will have a PS4. Along with Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs, the Witcher 3 will go to PC. However... it's good to know they have high hopes and production for the console versions

I'm just not a fan of the western style RPGs, Still looked impressive especially for an open world game!

getting this day one on my PC... least bother how the graphics and visuals will look on PS4 and Xbox One

the draw distance will be lessened, the framerate will be worse, the shadows will be less vivid

I 100% guarantee the pc version will absolutely STOMP the console versions

From this moment henceforth, Xbox hardware shall simply just exist but have no significant bearing from a business standpoint or from a gamer culture standpoint. It will simply be there for the people that want to have it and that's fine if they're selling it at a high price and actually making money off each sale.

But they should never ever again be Xbox fanboys anymore than they should be Lenovo laptop fanboys it's just a piece of hardware that exists to serve a purpose for niche group of people.

I’ll say this. Cyberpunk had a tumultuous start on console. Even if it had sold like crazy, that whole almost unplayable fiasco and being given no questions asked refunds made a lot of people not look back.
When it comes to PC, people are a lot more forgiving of things like that, especially on Steam, because of the return policy. I really think console manufacturers should implement the exact same refund policy. Was it played under X time? Refund it. It makes people take that risk on games a LOT more than on console. Bought this game and it was broken? Refund it. They said they fixed it 3 months later? Buy it again. It’s fixed but just not fun? Refund it. On console you don’t have that luxury. Was it downloaded? GG. No refund. Lord knows my Steam library is full of “I’ll try it” games that I loved and I’m glad I can take a rush on. On console, specifically PlayStation because I’m not buying Xbox games, I take calculated risk. Known developers. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden ragebound, stuff like that. Obviously big exclusives and games too. I would have never tried Little Bookstore on PlayStation, but on Steam… why not? Hellish Quart? Why not. Buckshot Roulette? Why not.

this is why console sales matter, folks.
